Tarkio Pool: Managers and lifeguards

I just want to let everyone know that I took my children to the Tarkio pool, and all they could talk about for the next few days was how cool the lifeguards are. They play and always have good attitudes, and when my kids see a lifeguard they recognize in the store they are always excited to say hello. I love how they interact with the children and how good role models they are. Im so thrilled to live in such a good community. If you see the lifeguards or managers around tell them how great they are!

One thing about the pool though is the bottom of it is terrible! My child has scraped up their knee or foot almost everytime they go. AND i feel bad for the lifeguards and manager because Parkboard changes the rules or adds new ones every week!

Whose gonna be the manager next year?

I think the lifeguards are lazy and all they do is gossip all day. I would never want to be as pathetic as some of them are.

Im just being honest. They are only out there to get money and a tan.

I think there is a good group of lifeguards and they are so good to the kids! The manager does a good job and it's her first year and she is doing great! Some people have to have something to complain about. If they just wanted a tan and money then why go through all of the training and CPR and ect... Keep up the good work Tarkio lifeguards and managers!!!

Uhhh well thats just rude. And you should know all of us at the Tarkio pool are certified, so keep your petty comments to yourself.

I have been going to the Tarkio pool since I was a kid. The lifeguards we have are the best. My young man(7yrs end of Aug) thinks the world of them. I afree how they interact with with kids! While still keeping it safe! It's nice going there & feeling comfy talking to these young adults. And whoever called them lazy. Try sitting up in those chairs with heat indext over 100 & that was before the board purchased large umbrellas that now sit on their lifeguard chairs. People need to find somethimg else to complain about & leave our lifeguards alone.

Sounds like a perfect job to me. Atleast they are working.
