With budget cuts, that security is reduced to nada.

Budget cuts my arse. There's no shortage of funding in the educational system. There is however, an abundance of waste when it comes to taxpayer money.

2.7 million for a track and filed -- and we have to lay off teachers and staff all over the state. What is wrong here?

That's one really nice "track and field" for a High School. That's a really good example of waste!

Did I strike a nerve there? What's wrong, don't you like others expressing there opinion? It's ok, your not the first internet jerkoff I've ever encountered. Oh, and I varsitied in three sports and made it through college on an academic, and athletic scholarship. So try again.
And undoubtably won't be the last.

obviously a waste of tax payer money. I get tired of people blaming the government/schools for what ever is wrong in their lives. Nerve? Nope. Just tired of the whining.

Well, peeps, all of those comments and I didn't see a word of dismay for that terrible deed. It was such a mean thing to do. There are parents somewhere, but knowing what their kids are doing is obviously not pertinent to their questionable lifestyles. I feel bad for everybody but the perps and their parents.

So reading comprehension isn't real high on your list of skills. Whining? Hardly. Pissed, most defenitely! Blame the government? So tell me, who's incharge of all this spending? Only a complete imbecile wouldn't see that the way the "elected officials" are running things isn't working. Especially in NM. Where else, but this country would you see a society throwing money hand over fist at a system that is completely broken. APS is bragging about graduating 58%, up from 50% the year before. And you don't think that's a problem? One other really disturbing fact. If things in this Country continue to go down the path they currently are, the US will be a fraction of what this Great Country once was.

The disdain for vandalism goes without saying. Hopefully they will catch the little pos's that did it, and their parents will have to cover the repairs through restitution.

Yes, that was a total whine. It's all the government's fault. Posh, private enterprise got us into this recession with their profit at all cost mantras. Is it any wonder that the petty politicos want to do the same? Give it a rest. Nothing worse than a crying neokon. How's the view under the sand?

Yes, it is all Bush/Cheney, Haliburton's fault. You are the one who needs to give it a rest. Your man is now in power and he is doing great things. They should speak for themselves....

Dramatech01's disdain is very apparent. His choice is causing major problems in this country and he can't come to grips with looking in the mirror and taking responsibility for his part in it. Its not surprising, most people simply don't know how to admit a mistake.

This is getting so common. It's probably a bunch of little punks out late, while their parents are cozy in bed without a care in the world. Parents take care and dicipline your kids before they rob me in 10 years.

Taurus

If you've been neglecting that special someone in your life over the past few days because you've been so busy with the festivities, try to make up for it today. Maybe you could have some time alone with them, or perhaps you simply need to remind them how much you love them. Don't be afraid to open up your heart to them, and to let them do the same to you.
