Somehow, I get the feeling that you want your boss to have the freedom to do anything to you.

How many times do you have to here this before sinks in? The Latinos in Taos were born there. Their families were there long before your ancestors dreamt of colonizing the area. Immigration is not part of this story. They have violated no law.

When you sell something, it is no longer yours.

Better yet, I think Americans should have a reverse invasion. The real estate in mexico is better anyhow.

hispanics call you a gringo...the mexicans call you a wab....i would call you a moron...and i hate to tell you...but in taos the majority is bilingual

I don't even have to ask what the "white N-Word" was, probably gringo, because I hear Mexicans call me that all of the time. It's too bad though, because there are so many funnier names you can call Mexicans.
If they were being insubordinate, I would have fired them too. If they wanted the job enough they would have made the changes and moved on. The man has enough experience and criteria to know what he is doing, he is not asking you to completely change your name just alter it to cater more to the majority English-speaking population.
Really this article is more against the Hispanic cause.
