State police told to pay tow truck owner $3.25 million

WOW!! All towing companies MUST BE HORRIBLE PEOPLE? Amazing how everyone can trash people so quickly without first hand knowledge of that person or others in the industry. God help all u perfect people when the glass house is where u live!! Maybe this tower is that rotten as u all write? I can't say? I'm from states away. BUT, as a Tower and 3rd generation family member of such industry, I can say we towers as a whole go out everyday and put the traveling public 1st as we stand on the fog lines and in the lanes of traffic to do our jobs as people have NO VALUE to our lives driving by @ 80 on the phone never minding the MOVE OVER LAW! We chose to do this as we love our jobs most days as do u, but never ask to be grouped by the "urban legend" of corruption that plagues us here. We like you have NO CONTROL over fuel cost and insurance as well as many other small business's face everyday. I don't know what other types of people face in their indusrty but I find it amazing that so many people know the cost of business in my indusrty, AMAZING!! Next time someone's family is trapped under the big truck or your late for work stuck in traffic waiting, or broken down in freezing weather, never fear , some rotten sleezy scummy but possibly HONEST HARD WORKING ETHICAL FATHER OR SON OR DAUGHTER WILL SOON BE THERE TO HELP CAUSE THATS WHAT WE DO!!! Just like you we all have family's and chose our career's. I am proud to be a tower and can only hope you can look past the few rotten and thank the many good people of all types of proffesions that get up everyday to make sure you get home safe!! Finally heres the number to chew on. Everyday we lose more towers and roadside people per capita than Law enforcement officers combined!!!! Think it's all fun and games, come stand on the shoulder and change the tire, I'll hold the light!!!!!!!!!!

The case, and its verdict, seems to imply that he was removed without a valid reason.

From what I am reading here, the State Police probably had a very good reason to remove him. Why was that "lost" in the jury deliberations?

All towing companies are there to make a buck. You have to take into consideration... truck maintence, truck payments, fuel costs, operators that awake to the phone @ 2:30 in the morning.
