Actually Nope pharmacies do carry fake oxycontin in case of robberies. I have two family members that work in pharmacies and they are required to attend a seminar each month to practice what to do if they do get robbed. Dont respond like an idiot if you have no idea what your talking about.

This is NOT true lol being that my wife has worked in this field for 15 years for a few different outfits I can assure you that they would NOT do this in fear of a mess up... why would you even post BS like this to make the public think otherwise? is it the fact you need attention? seriously why post BS like this....

I have heard that Purdue does make these fake oxys for this specific purpose. But I think that it would potentially cause a lot of problems. There are a lot more junkie pharmacists than most people realize. It would be so easy for a pharmacist to replace a few real oxycontin pills with the placebos and the patient would never know, they would just think that their medicine isn't working very well at the time when they take the placebos.
Meanwhile the pharmacist would make out with a handfull of free oxys, and no one would notice because I doubt they would even bother to keep a count on the fake pills anyway.

A lot of people do enroll in pharmacology because they know they'd have easy access to pills all day. The only problem is that the good shit is all watched, they count every oxycontin pill in most pharmacies. But if you have uncounted fakes, it'd be easy to switch.
It is just highly unethical to replace a pain patient's medication with placebos.
