I saw what appeared to be a meteor that day. It was a bright fire ball and seemed very close. I did not hear a sonic boom because I was in my vehicle and it was running. This moved fast like a meteor but unlike the others I have seen it seemed much closer and during the day. All other meteors I have seen have been at night and much further in the distance. It was strange to see and was bright enough that it caught my attention out my side window. I am located just south of the Alaska Highway in Tok and was looking to the south when I saw this. I believe it was headed in a West or Northwest direction.

Meteors travel in a straight line. The irregular
flight path of this object suggests a craft of some sort. You folks in Tok should be looking for little green bodies! |
