Florida leads nation in boating deaths

Florida again leads the nation in boating fatalities. According to statistics released this week by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, 77 people were killed on the water in 2007.

I quit boating because most of the boaters navigate their boats the same as they drive their cars. Ignorance is rampant. Booze, motors is no motor zones, hot shot attitudes and naked little girls all contribute to stupidity.

I betcha Florida has the lowest ratio for mountain climbing deaths. Where's our awesome publicity for that!!!
