This is some bull crap. I've been out of state for 2 1/2yrs and this is the only place I've ever wanted to eat. I love this food and would trade it for almost anything!!

I liked the food, but I guess with so many places to eat they didn't draw enough people in. I remember when they first opened it was always a wait toget in. I feel bad for the workers.

This is occurring because the parent company sold 83 of its restaurants 30 days ago:

Associated Press 11.27.07, 4:01 PM ET WASHINGTON - Avado Brands Inc. has sold 83 of its Don Pablo's Mexican Restaurants and Hops Grillhouse and Brewery restaurants, with its primary bankruptcy lender as the major buyer.

But there's more coming:

21st December 2007

First it was Rio Bravo, then Tia's, now Rio Bravo. What's with all the Tex-Mex places not staying in business? Very bizarre!

I live in St. Pete and our company recently went to the one in Lakeland. After calling a month prior twice they still didn't have a table reserved for us, plus the utensils and cups were dirty. They sent a $25 gift card...NOW WHAT??
