3 arrested in undercover Asian massage parlor bust

People who think this is a "victimless crime" are wrong! First of all, law-abiding Asians do not appreciate these characters adding to already existing stereotyping. It's degrading to educated Asian women. Second, some of these parlors bring underage and unwilling girls to the US. Third, this is organized crime. They are backed by Asian mob affiliates, they don't pay their share of taxes because they skim, they cross state lines to shuffle their "girls" back and forth....add it up....it's a RICO indictment. The shops themselves make a mere pittance compared to the money made on drugs, loan sharking, illegal entries to the US, sham marriage for hire. WAKE UP....they are bringing crime to your town, not just massages.

. I can't agree with you more. Everytime I pick up the news papers or turn on the news I hear about some thug shooting innocent people and street corners being used by gangs to sell ilicit narcotics. I wonder if the cops that work the vice or prostitution units are afraid to face real criminals. Come Tampa PD go after real criminals and stop wasting your time and our tax dollars arrest asain women.

Layla couldn't you say the same thing everytime a Colombian gets arrested for transporting drugs and say it stereotypes latino men or does that only apply to Asian women. I doubt that the women working there are shackled to the floor. The women are there cause they can make money. Now if you're so worried about taxes maybe you should take a little road trip to Washington and see how some of our Congressmen are spending our tax dollars specially with the idiot Obama that's running the show. When you see our tax dollars being wasted you'll see who the real criminals are. I say license these spas, regulate them and tax them like any other business.

Well you got into the wrong business then. I got a license for massage therapy, went through all the irritating things you are going through. Quit the profession. Then realized.. that is just the way it is. Give the happy endings, collect the $$, or just get out of the profession. If I am gonna pay $60 for a rub down, I damn sure want a happy ending.

Sure, some of these places do "extra services" but NOT ALL! The ones that do, give all the ones that are legit a bad name. Just read some of these coments and you'll see that most of you believe that ALL asian massage therapist are prostitutes just because they're asian and those of you who think like that are nieve idiots! I have 4 friends that are asian massage therapist that get extremly angry when they are grouped together with those bad apples making them look bad. These 4 women friends are just as mad at the girls who give "extra service" as the police are! They tell me they wish the police would do more investigations and more raids on these places so they can close them down and instill a good reputation and respect the legitiment asian therapist are looking for in this country. I know first hand how difficult is is for the good ones to come from China or Japan, learn enough english to take over 500 classroom hours at a "Board Certified" Florida school, then apply for a state license just to have everybody think that because they are asian they must all be prostitutes! Well, think about this, how do you feel if you are black and everyone conciders you a criminal, if you have long hair and tattoos you are thought of as a drug addict, if you're a redneck you're concidered a stupid racist, if you ride a motorcycle you must be in a gang, and so on and so on. Look, all I'm trying to say is don't judge anyone by their skin color, ethnic background, the clothes they wear, the amount of tattoos they have or any other ridiculous reason you can come up with. Judge someome for the individual that they are. Would'nt you like to be judge solely by who you are??

Sounds like your hubby did the dirty...maybe if you took better care of your man and dropped some weight you wouldnt have these kind of problems
