LeDoux has always been a class act. Back in 1987, when the Twins came back to the Metrodome after beating Detroit, me and my 2 young sons (ages 9 & 2) were in the Metrodome right behind Scott, along the 1st baseline. He took time-out to say shake hands and say talk to both of my sons.

I bought a car from Scott. I remember during the test drive he spoke of his recently passed wife. He nearly started to cry and had tears in his eyes. I was touched. I knew right then he was class guy.

We met him once at Benchwarmer Bobs. My brother called him "Canvas Back". Scott "set" him against the wall by his neck. And told him to be nice..... he did!

I had the chance to meet Scott a few years back when Wednesday Night Fights for ESPN were at the Roy. Scott was busy as heck but took enough time to talk to me. He even found me after the fights and asked if I liked the bouts. Nice when the promoter cared enough to ask a fans point of view!
