I am sure it will class the place up.

Of course they're spending yours and my money. Why does Tamarac have to copy Coral Springs all the time? How can they even start to compare themselves to a high class city like Coral Springs. Tamarac should mirror Lauderhill, my hood,'cuz that's what Tamarac has become. If it's like the sculpture they have at Veterans park, they should only pay $.99. PATHETIC.

Tamarac is going to spend $80,000 on art but they will cut police and fire services. YOU PEOPLE ARE NUTS. I agree with the writer who talks about Tamarac becoming like Lauderhill. Yo Queen beth, have you seen what the Woodlands is turning into. Do other people in the Woodlands know there is section 8 housing there. The mainlands is also going into the toilet fast. In just 10 years you will have to change the name of the city to Lauderhill North. But what does the currant commission care. They will not be here. But their public art and parks will be here to remind the people where the commission spent their tax money.

I love when people spout off without the facts. At least according to what I have read, all coral springs public art works are paid through corporate fees. In the coral springs mag last year they said explicitly that no tax money went to pay for any artwork. I have no info re: tamarac, but if they are copying cs, then none of our money

Who writes these stories? Why would a good writer leave out information on how this is being funded? I always read the Miami Herald because your writers skim the facts. My teachers demanded better than that from me in the 6th grade.
