Bashing Tamaqua PD

I've been reading alot of these post and tired of everyone bashing the Tamaqua Police. Instead of just talking trash on them let's give some ideas how things can be changed so the bitching stops. If you think you have an idea let's hear it.

I'll stop bashing the police when they stop bashing me! Seven broken noses over ten years is too much!

I don't wanna get into it anymore. I afraid of retaliation. Thank you very much! I've been dealing drugs for years and have stayed under the radar. A few beatings a year is worth it.

you let the people know how much it is worth selling drugs and what kind of money the state is missing out not having it legal and taxing it all they got to do is regulate it like they do liquor hell one person alone in ca pays close to a million a yr to both state and fed

First off, Dave Cipko does not deal drugs(per say)! He is on the road to recovery. He may sell a soboxin here, a soboxin there but that's all nothing to be concerned about. I am one of the concerned citizens, and I don't see my desire to get to the bottom of issues as "bitching". In fact, what I've been reading has been (allegedly) factual situations, and opinions from people who are offering their 2 cents. This is how a community (or any concerned group of individuals), first, finds common ground. Next, we listen, AND LISTEN, to everything out there and decide what is and is not factual. Lastly, we decide if we really do have a problem and how we are going to fix it.

These days, anytime people talk it's called "bitching," or worse, "preaching," and all I can say is...give me a break.

So let the talking continue. Hopefully we won't have to sort through a lot of bull, but we'll have to deal with it if we have to. Again, we cannot solve problems if we do not have a clear picture of the problems. Furthermore, we don't even know that there are worthwhile problems that need solving.

I don't care about your name. All I care about is if MY police department gave you 7 broken noses. If so, why? Under what circumstances.

What do you mean, "retaliation"?

No I am not sticking up for the bad guys, I just want to make sure the police department I fund is not acting above the law they are supposed to uphold.

I have not said a bad thing about our police, I just stated facts and feelings.

What do you mean "the cops setting them up again "?
In my simple mind....no one can set me up to be a drug dealer/taker of drugs unless they actually plant the drugs on me and/or my premises. Oh yes, I know this happens in the policing world, but are you saying it is happening in the Tamaqua Police world?

Mrs. South Ward Lady, I feel your emotions but I feel it is true that, when children are nurtured, drilled and "tough loved" against drugs, it will significantly lessen their chances of going near drugs.
I speak from personal knowledge as my family is completely against drugs and, boy, did they POUND that into my head from my earliest memories. I, also, grew up in the worst parts of a larger city, even a bad-ass housing project, around all kinds of drug addicts, dealers, pimps and violence....and I was NOT TEMPTED!!
Most of it was due to strict parenting in an era when parents invoked harsh consequences and were out ONLY TO BE MY PARENTS, not my friends.
Again, I do feel your passion and I know your heart is in the right place.

No it is not happening here. It is actually funny how many tall tales I have seen posted about our department. For Christs sake I guess we're responsible for shooting Kennedy too.

Sorry but that is ridiculous. I've been here 19 years and have never heard of such nonsense. If you're dealing drugs and someone broke your nose....sucks to be you. But for that to happen that many times I would know about it and it wouldn't be stood for. Take your conspiracy theories and contact a network maybe you'll get a deal.

Sir, this is going nowhere. You offered nothing constructive by lashing out at the police. Instead, you've lost a lot of credibility.

You said, "You are one of the worst cops in Tamaqua. We all hate you!" Hmmm. It sounds like a certain officer has been doing his job correctly by the level of bitterness in your comments. Only bad guys hate cops as much as you do.

If you have anything meaningful to say,(without name-calling), you will be heard. Otherwise, forget it.
