Gee lulu, did I hit too close to a nerve or something? Isnt Topix here so people can make ANY remark? I didnt swear, I didnt call anyone stupid, I just asked a simple question. If it bothers you so much, why are you reading what people post. Seems to me it is a free country. AND being that I am part Blackfoot Indian, Im perfectly within my rights to say "if you dont like it, leave..."

You are telling CRK that YOUR statement IS well withing your rights, yet it was you making a fuss over his making a statement in the very first place?
I truthfully wish you luck in finding a job soon. And maybe a hobby or two. And a life would not hurt. You could use up some time going after that killer alligator located in the Chattahoochee last week! While in that process, drink lots of the water, please?

This is an article from LAST summer. Lake Lanier is noted as having an unpredictable bottom. Extreme caution should be used by experienced and inexperienced swimmers.

There ya go. A surprisingly smart move on your part. Get totally off the subject you hopelessly whined about. While my children receive their college education and I enjoy the Remy Martin Remy Martin Louis XIV "firewater" you fantasize about after a good day of work at the money rolling casino.
And the alligator, after you use the shotgun you will not surprisingly use, you can have it for dinner all to yourself.
just wondering

maybe while you are guchugging down that remy you can reread your comment, if you want to speak of "off topic"...good to hear that your kids qualified for the federal grant that allows us "injuns the opportunity to better the quality of their life by funding their college tuition...so, do you gamble much? you avoided the question about the alligator boots....why doesn't that surprise me? i'll save you the tail to enjoy with your "remy"...now, you just have a wonderful day~!!

I don't know but shouldn't we be commenting on the drowning and death of people in Lake Lanier, and not fighting each other on Native ancestry?? It seems that every year a handful of people die in that Lake. My family use to jetski there. After we got a flier stating "20 people did this year" or when we were turned away because someone had drowned and died that day, that was the last time we took our boats there.

Lisa,
Yes you are right and I apologize for my part in this. It just stinks when someone loses their life senselessly. You know, my mom had such a huge fear of the water that she wouldnt even wade without a live jacket on. Water not even to her knees but she was afraid she could drown. My brothers and sister and I were taught how to swim at a young age and even went on to be certified as life guards as teens. It doesnt take time or too much effort to safeguard yourself, especially when you know you are putting yourself in danger. Sometimes one little precaution really can save a life.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Aquarius

The more you want to control someone, or someone wants to control you, the more difficult life will be today. It's a Full Moon and a lunar eclipse, so the last thing you should do now is to act as though you own this person, or tell them what to do, because it will be an instant recipe for rebellion and trouble. Mars is retro in your house of significant others and open enemies after all. If you don't want to spoil the evening's celebrations you'll have to make compromises, and hope that this other person will do the same. Don't let the fuss stop you having a very happy New Year's Eve.
