The board should hang their head in shame. How many job losses is this for our community?

Those guys have no shame. If they did they wouldnt have shown up the next morning after deciding to discount the inventory 55% and one of them bought about $4000 worth of stuff.
They are trying to get the place closed without letting anybody get a look at the books. Makes you wonder what they are afraid of.

There is a closed sign up now. Guess the board is running scared. The members should call for an audit of the books.

Why not audit the books then if they did nothing wrong they would be vindicated. I heard this morning that they refused to have an annual meeting. Some board members are serving and their term has expired.

I heard the same about the meeting. Theproblem they have now is that 3 board members terms have expired. I would expect some members to seek legal means to force the board to have the meeting. The board is displaying an incredible arrogant and disrespect for the members.

The board decided not to have a meeting at their board meeting. they also got a revised offer of $1mil from the Pterson and Broyles. Down 400thou from the first offer. There is a real estate agent out shopping the property around for P&B. Apetition will be circulating shortly requesting an annual meeting.

hey when farmland went under it effected ALL rural CO-OPs this is bigger than just the board...oh and what about coBANK they are a big player also

|
I do understand

Let me give you just one small example. As there are many more of greater significance. A coop welder was listed for sale at their auction Come ale day it is not there Everyone asks about it at the sale. They can't find it. After many inquiries and no answer they were asked if a police report was filed. Why did it take weeks to file a simple police report. If it was yours or mine we would be doing something the day we missed it. Sure there were other factors that led to the demise. Like losing their warhouse liscence. Like employees not being able to make tickets for board member, that had to be done in the office. Special deals to board members just doesn't cut it
