Does anyone know Stanley and Michelle Rushton?

I'm from Macon county,NC and they have been charged with horrific sex crimes against their own children. I was wondering if any allegations ever occured there.

Never heard of them.

These people had roots in Burke County, but lived in the Candler/Bulloch area on morethan one occasion, working for Robert Anderson farms. Their kids went to school in Portal. They were our neighbors. Only once we heard allegations about sexual abuse - oddly, it was the third suspect in the case, Gilmore Reddy, who drunkenly told some people Rushton abused his own daughter. Reports were allegedly made, and it was not long before the Rushtons moved to Otto, NC - where they had lived before. They moved from the border of Candler/Bulloch about 5 mile west of Portal once a few years ago to Otto, then returned. A couple years later after Reddy's comments they moved again - almost overnight. Now we know what they were hiding. Poor kids - they are so precious, and I am glad these monsters are behind bars.
