I still believe that I would rather be in a car when I get hit than on a bike. The odds of being involved in an accident are to high for me to ride a bike with car traffic. That's insane.

I actually ride a motorcycle to work every day (48mpg). I will admit it is not as safe as a car, but I drive back roads to work and drive pretty cautiously. It is really fun, besides being fuel efficient. I do wish that other drivers would pay more attention to bike and motorcycles.
