Full story: Gort42

How they decided that the pizza guy was more credible than a 2 term Governor is beyond me.

Gov. Gary Johnson would make a great President. This country is in desperate need of change and Obama was unable to deliver. I'm voting for Johnson!

I guess you can compare him to a young Ron Paul or JFK

At last at least an alternative to the less than thrilling Obama/Romney situation.

http://youtu.be/2X3QRSIXgns

"...Two-term Governor, Gary Johnson, says both parties are indistinguishable from one another. Both are keeping America broke. Both are keeping America at war. Both have trampled on the Constitution. And both are stooges to the same big money players that never change behind the scenes. It's time to put our differences and our parties aside and come together as a nation for the good of all. We The People are ready to LIVE FREE." -Gary Johnson 2012

...and if one bases the PoliTopix poll of "do you want a 3rd party candidate" - polling shows "YES - 60+% percent".

I'm thinking with all the previous "sidelined" attitudes the media has placed on him - during the debate season, this has caused him to be not as recognized as he would have hoped it would be.

Good luck Gary - We are rooting for you.

I was recently dealing with a car that was literally in a ditch and the driver tried putting the car in R, and then D, and then back and forth between R and D, and it just dug the car deeper.
In the end a third party had to come and tow her out ....

Pretty much literally no media attention or any from people I would expect to react...

Some people would associate this with "being scared", because he may have an impact.

I think he does.

I think the time is approaching when a Third Party will indeed impact the vote.

Mr. Johnson, as good a man as he seems to be served as a Republican during his governorship. Very popular as he served two terms. Should be a large drain to pull Republican voters away from Mr. Romney. That will serve the Democrats well. Wonder how much money is being funnelled thru the DNC to support his campaign? Sounds like a spoiler role to me.

Could go either way:

Anderson was a spoiler for Carter in 1980, helping Reagan win.

Perot was a spoiler for Bush in 1991, helping Clinton win.

A lot of people are going to Write Ron Pauls Name in on election day, But it dont matter The GOP will never let him get the Nomination, Gary Johnson will be on every ballot in all 50 states I think its time for a 3rd party president instead of republican or Democrat because we havent had any luck with either since John F. Kennedy. Gary Johnson 2012.......Libery is at hand.

I don't know if he'll be a "spoiler" for either side. There are plenty of folks on both sides of the aisle who've "had it up to here" with the Republicrats.
His achilles heel, however, is that the media attention isn't there nor will either side even mention him.
This is because they are scared $hitless of him. He would force them to actually have plans as to how things will get done if he gets into the debates.

How will Gary Johnson be a help to the democrats, if any thing he will also pull votes away from Obama as well as Romney. Obama and Romney are backed by the same bankers. Have you notices the millions being poured in by all the weathy folks, for both of them, my vote is for Gary Johnson, he may not be getting the support of the rich, but he is going to get the support of the people.

Gary Johnson may not "help" either side diectly, but he'll weaken further the weakest candidate, as Perot weakened Bush in 1991 and Anderson weakened Carter in 1980.
