Can anyone explain the strange house with the bricked in windows?

I don't live in the area, but sounds like some people just like to live in the dark, like Gander is. Weird people!! And 'no'I won't pay nothing for any information. |

I think I know the building you are asking about. It was not a house but at one time was a store. I believe the Mayfield Store. It probably closed in the 60s. Over time the windows were broken and the interior rumaged through. In the 80s the windows were boarded up, roof was repaired and was used for storage by I believe Mr Mayfield who has since passed on. There were few homes in the area when it closed. The nearby apartments and most of the homes were built since the 70s. The property is now for sale. Hope this was helpful. |
