Let's think about this for a minute. We cut the genitals out of puppies, we clip their ears and tail, oh and need I mention that we pierce the ears of little babies and cut the foreskin off some of our males for the sake of health and religous reasons. Why are we wasting tax payer money on charging Ms Crawford with this bull**** charge. With the SPCA always begging for donations and closing centers her and there I would think we could find other ways to spend a limited source of funds.

Because it's the law. If you don't like the law have it changed, but it's still the law.

Wanna complain about tagging livestock, Tagging research animals, or even the people who pierce their 6 month old babys ears too. who cares. At least she wasn't selling them as food.Don't forget, PETA (who tipped off the humane society) is the same group that suggested Ben 'n' Jerrys use human breast milk in their ice cream because drinking cows milk is unnatural. P.S. This comment was not intended to defend People Eating Tasty Animals decision.

This is yet another example of how desperately the gene pool needs more chlorine.

I can only hope that these charges prevent her from ever being licensed in another business involving animals. She's clearly too stupid to be around them without supervision.

Phil, If you aren't a vegetarian I think you should be charged as well. Put that on your grill and cook it.

I would love to meet Ms. Crawford, and I love to protect those that can't protect themselves. Maybe piercing Ms. Crawford's eyelid would be a nice start.

The article states the cats were pierced with a 14 gauge piercing. What is a 14 gauge piercing?

Leave her alone. How many of you people that are complaining have had yours declawed or even tattood? Peircing can't be any worse than that and I bet you all think that is ok. If the animal is fine and the humane society should be able to tell or not - then leave her alone. Besides, maybe they just might like a tattoo or peircing like we do.

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Scorpio

Let the past stay in the past for now. Even though you may have fond memories of intense experiences, the Virgo Moon sees to it that you have virtually no desire to go there again just yet. This is your opportunity to show others what you can do in a more civilised environment. Don't try to shout down someone who is rude enough to interrupt. As unlikely as it may seem, the softest voice has the biggest chance of being heard today.
