Don't waste your time at Chowders 'N Moor
I'm not trying to be mean, just open and honest. I wouldn't eat at Chowder's N Moor again if someone else was paying for it. The service was at best slow. We had 18 people in our party and one server, plus our server was taking care of other tables at the same time. The food was edible, but over priced. An improvement in service may have helped with the food. Example: It took so long for our orders to come out, a few of us forgot what we ordered. We arrived 15 to 20 minutes early, we had reservations for about 20 people @ 7 PM. They would not seat us! My wife and I don't drink so we just stood around waiting in a crowded bar area. Then the one and only server took care of our drink order, appetizers and dinner orders.
The icing on the cake about 8:45 employees were dragging empty tables away from the wall running hand sweepers and brooms and kicking up dust all around us. This was on a Friday night, the place was emptying around us fast - almost like people were being driven out.
The food again, over priced for what you get and not the best "bar food" I've ever had. There is more, but no use in beating a dead horse. Don't waste your time at Chowders 'N Moor.
