Will Sheriff Crider be reinstated?

I heard that they advertised for a police chief - one officer. Then heard that the mayor is deciding on his own to possibly hire a dirty cop especially after council is split in this decision. They wanted somone outside of Gaston with 10+ yrs experience. Someone on gastongic's website inquiried about accomplishments, service record, and reputation of the candidates?

We would also like to see a Community building or complex that is open to all organizations for planning, organizing, hosting, business meetings, parties, reunions, welcoming our soldiers home, emergency shelter (CERT), emergency kitchen, Town headquarters, home commings, dipatch for elderly assistance, helping our citizens with job searches, public classes........The list is nonstop for a facility of this nature.

For what purpose? Why would someone do such a thing? I do not even know who YOU are so why are you so important that someone would try to assume your ID?

I am sooo glad you posted this because it answers my question; I see others have had the same problem. So is it an invalid post from wltx topix or the person you refer to in your post. Seems odd to me, I was concerned my 3rd grader was posting on here. I have to say that after researching this GIC group everyone keeps talking about I can see why you refer to them as you do. Thanks so much for the heads up on them; it seems to be a common trend on these recent forums to become subject of public degrading. My concern too is for those he is representing. I only know a few people on that website and I cannot imagine they would agree. Again, thank you, and I guess I can resume with my comments. People like this give that town a bad name. So glad I relocated.
