Wow a 2008 conviction for carrying a loaded gun and while he's still on probation he shoots someone. So this is proof that criminals have guns no matter how hard they make it for law abiding citizens to obtain legal permits. Doesn't that make you feel safe? I feel warm and fuzzy all over.

Um, Pro Gun, I understand where you are coming from but I don't think the guy had the flu.
The number one way to keep the flu out of schools is for parents to NOT send ill children to school. It's unfortunate if you have to go to work or whatever but that is your conundrum and is not a valid reason to possibly infect others with a potentially deadly disease. Oh yeah, and if you get ill, stay home! No-one at your job wants to become ill. That includes customers. Businesses need to become pro-active about this and employees need to be told to stay home if ill with a communicable disease. You needing money does not give you the right to cause other people to become ill.

Handwashing...my daughters are able to wash their hands after they use the restroom. Thats it. They dont even have the kids wash or even use an antibacterial wipe before lunch. It's just a matter of time before all of the kids are sick.

parents hopefully are doing what is needed at home. Vitamins/ herbs as they have been proven to work. Prevention can sometimes be the best medicine. Sanitizing. covering up, washing hands, I guess all to take it seriously. No faith in the consistency of the school system. As I have been told we are not babysitters, and of course they don't work as a team... So parents wake up. WE need to be the leaders of all, do the right thing take a stand with your children, and for your children

This all is common sense at this time of the year. Try to boost immunities and stop spread infectious germs. I think this whole swine flu is being blown out of proportion. 1,000 people in the US have unfortunately died with in 10 months due to the swine flu. 1200 people a week, yes a week, on average, die due to the complications of other flu. These are facts research from the CDC. unfortunately people will get sick, but that is the only way to form immunities. Yes people in poor health should get a vaccine. But then because the president wants a rush on vaccine. For going federal regulations, then how many death will be related to the shot itself. I won't allow my family to have a shot that does not have FDA approval.

Herbs and vitamins hey? You should go back to school and study up on biology.A virus could not be stopped by herbs and vitamins.I also think it is for certain that as a member of the herbs crew you are also a democRAT.This virus thing is a scam right up there with global warming.Every year kids get the flu and every year people die of the flu and this swine flue is no different.
