Look these criminals as you call them are in prison for a reason, the damn State won't execcute those on Death Row, they have rights. The Federal Gov't won't pay for the Illegals that are in prison and sure as hell won't deport them.
These animals are where they belong, let nature takes it's course and let only the strong survive.
Quit treating thes thugs are misguided children, as far as I'm concerned let them kill one another, it cuts Court Costs.

Why don't the judges send the rulings to the animals in prison and those seeking to go and tell them to not commit crimes that put them in prison. Poor animals resulting to violence in prison...that's what got them there in the first place. Make it a reality gladiator pay per view and they will raise all the money they need. The only people to blame for the deplorable conditions the animals are in, are the animals themselves.

Wouldn't deporting the illegals in prison be a sensible, logical first step? Some estimates put that number quite high. Call me crazy, but I think that political correctness should take a back seat to the crisis our state is in. In fact, the entire illegal situation, along with birthright citizenship, should be looked at in a sensible, logical way.

The question of the day asked if we approve of dumping the prisons.

That's not a simple 'yes' or 'no' question. My answer is who get released depends on the crime committed, how long the prisoner's record is and whether or not that person has committed a felony where another person was physically, mentally or financially harmed.

Drug users and white collar criminals might be okay to release, and there are hundreds of others others, who should never be in prison, but ankle bracleted and serve home detention.

BTW, why is the court overly concerned with the health and well-being of prisoners when reseasing a certain percentage of them will be harmful to our health and well-being?

The animals that get released should be given maps and a ride to the neighborhood(s) where these three judges live. Maybe they would like to provide the type of facilities, health care and mental care that they "think" the animals deserve. A tent in the middle of the Mojave Desert surrounded by barbed wire, walls and guard towers sounds like a plan. There should be enough room to reduce the overcrowding, if they need a doctor, I'm sure Obamacare will take care of them.

The three judges that penned the decision:

Stephen Reinhardt - Appointed by: President Carter, 1980
Lawrence Karlton - Appointed by: President Carter, 1979
Thelton E. Henderson - Appointed by: President Carter, 1980

All for life terms, and we can't recall them.

Of course the animal's attorneys are based in Berserkly.

Hopefully the supreme court again reverses another dumb 9th circuit decision.

Isn't it great washington provides billions for clunkers but can't help the states keep criminals in jail. They must be Obam's friends. Priorities must mean if you are a comfortable middle class, employed citizen then you deserve tax-payer dollars. Is this a broken system or what. What we need is a school for presidents. Release all prisoners, why stop at 40,000. Send them to the white-house with all the free loaders.

I have an issue with the idea that the "deplorable" conditions in prison leads to increased recidivism. Now some of the guys aren't the brightest bulbs in the chandelier but not all. I consider myself a reasonably smart person and if I was miserable someplace and got out of it I would do everything in my power to avoid gong back there ever again.

Some Governor somewhere is going to have to stand up and exercise their rights under the tenth amendment. It might have to go all the way to secession but if that is what it takes, so be it. Judges are making these rulings with no thought to how in practicality they are impossible to accept. Judges are becoming legislature and the executive branch and it has to stop but it will take the courage of someone to stand up and say no, you are wrong and I will not obey a stupid order.

Thanks No Mas, how hard is it to mention the judges name? I would like to know who is responsible in every asinine decision worthy of being published as news.
These judge's names were protected in 3 out of 4 articles I read on this topic.

Impossible to manage?? Why ?? Why, the taxpayer and law abiding citizen asks...
Is is because of the over spending and coddling of the gangbanging inmates and their 'concerned' families?? Is it because of giving too much rope to liberals who also coddle the gangbanging vicious inmate??
It's time to put up the tents, it's time for bolognas sandwiches, and it's time to reinstate the death penalty....
The law abiding citizen expects immunity from criminals.....
Let them out??? OK, let them live with our state legislature..... Let time live close to them and their homes....

It's unfair how all of these "criminal" news pictures depict Latinos (tatooed no less). It implies that Latinos comprise a large portion of criminals in the justice system. I surmise that the number of Latinos in jail is almost exactly proportionate to their overall US population.

One can see from the photo
that the 'rehabilitation' of these convicts
is going along swimmingly!

Perhaps the California SSR can export some?

Nah.....they'll just unleash them into your neighborhoods instead.

Nice going, California Socialist Democratic voters!

You've done it again......Done it to yourselves!

We should first deport all the illegals back to south america to alleviate overcrowding

on second thought, better not as they'll sneak right back in due to our still open borders

just keep this scum off our streets or build townhomes for them in Berkeley or Malibu.

Do you see a better future for the State of California? Not with those guy on our streets... They should have been sent to their Country in first place! Now we stocked with them. I would not release those tattoo gorillas. Lawyers made mistakes and so the Judges. They will kill again if send free. The real and the last Judgment still to come for them for you and for me.

My son is currently serving time in Chino State Prison and is in a wheelchair, due to being paralyzed. He has experienced pressure sores twice already and is staying in the general population division as the medical ward is not adequate to his personal needs. He is serving two years, that began in January of 2009 and he is due out Sept. 2010. He is serving time for fraud, a non-violent crime. Is there a possibility that he might get out?

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Pisces

Whether the excesses of the past few days are catching up with you or you're feeling drained for other reasons, you need as much rest as possible today. Once you get tired, your defenses will be down and you'll start to fret about whatever is currently nagging away at the back of your mind. You're also concerned about the welfare of a certain person, which doesn't help.
