It's a shame we boys in our school did'nt think of this in 3rd grade.We would have controlled the world by now.

Another quality intellectual product of the wonderful public school system. It seems like a great plan to a 14 year old to take a gun to the prinicipal's office to get better grades and longer recesses. Hey, let's give the schools even MORE money! They're obviously doing a fine job teaching children how to make logical plans.

Does the fact that he was caught mean that his demand for longer recess won't be met?

This child must be emotionally disturbed to do something this heavy. I am not condoning it, but I seriously think he needs to get professional help, before he does something a whole lot worse. And where were his parents? Did they not see that their child needed help? Or were they blind to it?
