I have lived in Surprise, and I now live in Wittmann. We moved here to avoid all the hustle and bustle of daily life in the city. We chose to move here to give our children a chance to grow up in a rural area and allow them to experience all that life has to offer. The opportunity to be able to play without the worries of gun shots, drugs, and other concerns of parents. We enjoy immensely the simple life of this town and have decided that IF Surprise annexation does go through we will pack up and move further west towards wickenburg or Aguila. People choose to live in this area for the simplicity of life, the quietness of night, no lights, no smog, no pollution, feeling safe and a feeling of community. Where you know all your neighbors and everyone helps everyone. As for being unintelligent walks of life, Yes every town has them. As for OUR Town, We may not wear suits and ties and designer shoes. We may run around in jeans, and cut offs and cowboy boots and hats, BUT we value life and all it has to offer, Have an A+ Achieving school for our children and Many of the citizens do have educations and good jobs. Some yes might be unemployed due to our current financial status thanks to our government. However, OUR Town is a much better place to raise a family and live rather than living in Phoenix, Glenale, Peoria, or EVEN YES SURPRISE!!!
