Crash in YouTube Stunt Critically Injures Teen Driver

As if we needed more validation, another example of why insurers consider teen drivers a higher risk: not just lack of driving experience, but also lack of judgment. A Peoria, Arizona teen was critically injured when he wrecked his 2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse during what was supposed to be a stunt for a YouTube video.

Last word; Lower the horsepower rating in vehicles for teens to be allowed to drive.
Start them out young with battery operated cars at wal-mart?!

I find this funny. Like the 8 kids who beat up one little girl so they could put a video on youtube, and were arrested.
We need more natural selection in this world.

My husband told my boys that as soon as they said those same words they better stop what they were doing because it was something stupid and somebody was going to get hurt.
And let me tell ya, I have three boys. They do some stupid stuff. One wants to be an demolition expert so you can imagine what kind of shit goes on around here. It doesn't help that he has a pyromaniac for a chemistry teacher. He is turning seventeen and we won't let him get his driver's license because he is so immature - physically and mentally.

The other kid is in to go-karting and one was into BMX. By far, the BMX seemed to be the most dangerous. I finally said no more to that. I had seen to many kids with serious head injuries, and these kids were wearing helmets. It was gross too. Some of the lacerations to their faces and scalps were awful! Yuck.

Gee mom why don't you put those boys in dresses and high heels? And with a litte makeup they could be your darling daughters. If they are to stupid to live they are better off dead.

There's an episode of Malcolm in the Middle, where they three brothers are way up on the roof, with some hideous, rickety, Rube Goldberg contraption that appears set to roll down the roof and do 'something.' Malcolm, evidently having rethought the idea, looks into the camera and says, 'You know, on paper this seemed like a really cool idea.'
