**** There are many things that can, and have, been said here that are WAY out of line as far as I am concerned. I mean, COME ON PEOPLE! Hasn't already been enough tragedies here? Three people have lost their lives, entire families have been ripped apart and yet all people can seem to do is sling insults and make inflamatory statements for no other purpose than to cause even more hurt to others? What is this world coming to??? Anyway.... I came here to express my condolences to all of the families and friends of the victims and to express my own sorrow at the loss of these three lives. I only knew Shannon and Maddie for a brief time and Jimmie not at all but even so, I grieve for their passing. I am surely not the only one. I offer prayers to the Gods that in time our hearts will heal, although we will never truly forget the pain that death causes us. I also pray that this tragedy will serve us all as a reminder to never take life for granted, for it is a precious and uncertain gift that can end in a single heartbeat.... Blessed be- Jana

I am the wife of the man that died that night, and also a friend of shannons. I am here to say what happen that night was not something shannon would have ever planed or wanted. I'll miss my husband every day for the rest of my life (mind you I'm only 23 years old), but I could never blame shannon and hate to see any one else just let them all rest in peace.

Gee, makes one wonder what your husband was doing with shanney that night, must have been some good stuff, but not worth dying for I'm sure. Also advertising the fact that your( only 23 ) may mean your already over it and figure what the hell, he's gone lets get it on.

space jelly invader wrote: <quoted text>I sure do I'm reading about a tragedy that took place and took the lives of three people. This is a tragedy that takes place over and over again. Shannon is not the first driver to have such a thing happen. I doubt very much that she will be the last either. Speed is a factor, but other factors could exist as well. Pointing fingers and throwing hissy fits so you feel that you are superior to others including someone that lost their lives is pathetic. There were lives lost in this, and unless you have never done a thing wrong you really have nothing to say about it except that this is a tragedy and hopefully you will personally strive to improve your driving skills so this doesn't happen to you. And feel for the families that this has affected personally. Tick tock, tick tock. Next time it could be you whose time is up. What do you want people to say about you? A little compassion may be in order instead of behaving like a hyena stripping the flesh off the recently deceased.

I am only 23 but we where together for 3 1/2 years and have 2 kids so how do you figure I would be over it. You must not have a life to sit and bother grieving familys as you are. My advise to you get one!!!!
