I have to agree with you my niece was killed by a speeding driver I'm sorry people have to lose their lives but when you are issued a drivers license you are carring a deadly weapon and you need to respect it.

She was driving faster than the speed limit - that doesn't mean she sucked as a person. Have you ever driven faster than you were supposed to??

How insensitive of you to make such a remark. She didn't decide to drive and kill herself and others that day! People make mistakes, sometimes it happens in a split second and you can't recover from it. I'm sure you are a saint of a driver. Your comments are moronic

I agree with Pat in Bel Air. Space Jelly Invader is clearly a simple minded idiot. Jelly for brains probably never made a wrong turn in his life. Gosh, Jelly for brains probably never even made a mistake in his entire life. This was a tragedy. It's unfortunate the as humans, we err.
(Except of course Spaced out jelly for brains)he's evidently perfect.

no one every said anyone was perfect all it is if you are driving you need to obey the laws that are what they are there for Like I said I lost my niece to a careless speeder when you are going to fast to handle your vehicle then you are going to fast period I am sorry the people have lost their lives but at what account did God give them to take the lives of the innocent and I pray to God you never have to lose someone in a horrific accident where negligence was the case because it is not pretty it is murder not only to the victim but to the victims families..........

Mr Genius (jelly brains) There is a distinct difference between murder and manslaughter. This was not intentional. Ironically, Shannon was my best friend's niece. A lot of people are suffering and mourning. Oh - it appears you studied Theology as well. God doesn't "give" humans that type of authority. God is Authority. It was an unfortunate tragedy. I'm not going to waste any more time on you. Do you have any friends? I'm just curious.

Hey jackass - do you know the definition of murder? And have you seen any police reports? There have been alot of things reported by a multitude of sources and none of them official. How quick we are to pass judgment. You don't know shit.

Hey joker - shows what you know! She didn't run head on into anybody. What the $uck do you know about how her driving? What gives you the right to make such a stupid remark as she was driving like a "nut case"? Were you there? You have formed an opinion based on speculation - not facts. Pull your self-righteous head out of your ass and shut up until you have the facts.

<quoted text> Don't try to tell me Shannon just made a mistake, you half witted twit! Just how many mistakes would you figure she made while driving like a nut case, before she made her last one? You call me insensitive but you make no mention of the two other people she killed, or the other people she!! ran head on into, what about the problems she caused them? And yes I do drive like a saint, I have to so! I can watch out for people that drive just like Shannon, and there's a hell of a lot of them and they are all trying to kill me. I do feel bad about Shannon but that's as far as I can go. So if you don't like my insensitive moronic comments my friend, you can just kiss my ass.

No thank you, you have an ugly attitude. Everyone has different insight, and your writing is insensitive. You are a human being just as Shannon is, and someday YOU will make a mistake that will cost someone or something, pride and haughtiness comes before a fall.
Regarding kissing your ass, I chuckle at the thought because the only thing that would kiss your ass is your dog. ha,ha,ha,! Because you are a dog! ha,ha,ha,!

AND I have a lovely ass! Thank you !! Have a nice day moron!

My heart goes out to the victims of this tragic accident. Accidents do happen but we as citizens need to do our best at being safe on the roadways. because the life we lose made not only be ours but the innocent also I just read where a baby was fatally injured in a crash and it was because another car crossed over the lane and hit the vehicle he was in head on so lets all obey the law.

WOW,what a trip, how long can this go on,a terrible thing has happened,no doubt this has affected the lives of many,a time like this seems to bring sorrow along with bitterness,at times i think we all have had these same feelings sometime in our life,we all express in differant ways.its tragic when ever anyones life is suddenly snapped away sometimes it seems the blame should be placed on someone,im very sorry that shannon, matti, and jim have left us i feel that mayby if i would have spent more time listening and trying to be a better person and friend to them, maybe things would have been different.i know personally that this tragety has woke me up to the fact that the next person you see may be yours or thers last.,we cant change the past,be we do have the opportunity to change the future.LISTEN,LEARN,and GIVE one life can effect the lives of many.

I will not propose to judge Shannon Hauver. I will judge this, this woman for what ever reason got behind the wheel of a vehicle and took two lives.

Getting behind the wheel of a vehicle is NOT a mistake. Ask the families of the other two people who died. Did the people who Shannon hit make a mistake by taking that road? NO, they trusted the hope that the people in the other vehicles were same and in their right minds.

Now with that said, the liberal hearts that are defending Shannon should just shut the hell up. She was responsible for taking her life and two others. I don't think this was a mistake, it was vehicular homicide.
