I think we should just open the border and let all American's buy property in Mexico and build business and just do what they want except speak Spanish and expect everyone to cow tow to them in another country, use all there resources and laugh at the Mexicans because they are allowing us to do that, because they don't want to cause problems or have someone retaliate against them. In other words turn the tables. We have a lot of citizens in the US that can over run the country. Whatcha think?

I think , you are just plain stupid. To begin with there are a lot of Latin American in the U.S not only Mexicans (know the difference), and if all Latin Americans left the country, or even if just Mexicans left the country, U.S economy would plumet. Why? Because all you lazy white people dont' want to do the job that Latin Americans end up doing, construction work, cleaning, cooking and not just that, there are many great companies runned by Latin Americans and many of us have degrees and are highly educated with or without a green card. People who are illegal work hard to sent money to their families and still, just like the rest of us have to pay taxes. Do they get a refund on Tax Day? Hell, no! You dont' only get someone to do the work you dont' want to do, but you also keep their taxes and give it to all those lazy people on Food Stamps (which by the way is mostly white lazy people). So think twice. Oh, by the way, If it makes you mad that Mexicans seem to be taking over the U.S. Learn your history, Texas, California, and many other states were ours to begin with!!! I think your misinformed. The economy would plummet if they left, please. As a person who lives in Los Angeles, I think I can make a fair evaluation when it comes to "illegal immigrants".
I've seen 16 emergency room hospitals close because of illegal immigrants using them as a primary care. I've seen high school graduation rates plummet to just under 50 percent. I've seen the prison population swell in LA County with 30 percent of inmates being illegal (prisons are paid with taxpayers money).

What's really happening is what the illegals call "reconquistador" The reconquering of the southwest portion of the U.S. They believe the land is rightly there's, even though they lost it in a war, and part of it was sold. The real problem is with the corrupt mexican government exporting their poorest, who rely heavily on social services, to the U.S.

I agree with Jazz and as for Dave he's probably some wanna be I know it all or some one who has never suffered or what it is like to be hungry. He says 30 percent of the imates are illegal but he didn't mention what percent was white or what percent is of another nationality.
I beleive their are many American who need someone to blame for their laziness or their welfare dough being cut short because of the increase of people. America has made our American people dependant on their system whether they need it or not and they got used to it. Immirgrants come here to survive and as in all races there are those who take advantage of what our goverment offer us.As for criminal they come in all races, not to mention some of those who are to protect and serve and those who hold high positions in our community,. If you are so informed , you missed going back to the Zoot Suit Riots which took place in Los Angeles and that all began with the sailors and this bit of history should have been called the "sailor's riots" since they were the ones who started and when the Mexicans fought back , guess who ran.?

Wow! Come on now. When will we start to have a respectful dialogue about this? Many of us need to look at it from both sides... Pro human rights or not. What we should do is all learn about the history, present, and what we want our future to look like. I suggest we try to spend more of our time finding out what it is that we can agree on and work from there. Do I sound crazy or does any of this make sense?

You know who I feel the sorriest for? The Mexical citizens who are trying to get into this country legally. They have to wait forever and I have to wonder if that is because there are already so many illegal Mexicans here that we can't handle more.
Many, if not most, illegals don't pay taxes. It would be very hard to do that. The employers would have to supply social security numbers to the government and would have to pay legal wages which goes against why they hire illegals to begine with.
Please don't tell us that U.S. citizens won't do that work at a legal wage. I know people who have tried to get any job out there but were unable to because they couldn't compete against illegals who will work for illegal wages. This includes high school kids wanting to work in the fields for summer jobs.
Most welfare recipients are white? It would be interesting to get your source for that. While you are getting that why don't you check the statistics for crime also. Might be interesting. Oh and be sure to grab the statistics for illegals who pay taxes while you are at it. Suprise me with some numbers on that.:D

Hey Dave, Do you really think that illegals don't pay any taxes? Here, take a look when you go to the store, get in the line behind an illegal, if the store cashier doesn't charge the illegal an extra 5% on what he/she buys, then illegals don't pay taxes. Other example, I have illegal friends, they get about 200 to 250 dollars taken out of their paychecks for social sec. and medicare, aren't those taxes? do they get it back like many of us do? NOOOOOOOO!!! How about this: would you come to Idaho and move those heavy irrigation pipes twice a day? getting up at 4am and getting done moving those pipes until 9pm without breaks? Of course not. We prefer to spend all day lying on our couch, or just drinking beer, or doing meth. Am I wrong?
Let me tell you this: potatoes, wheat, tomatoes, oranges, etc. don't grow in the stores! I bet you just care about going to the store and get what you need, you don't care about how what you bought got to the store.

I moved pipes in the fields from when I was about 7 years old. Twice a day when school was going, three times a day when it wasn't.
Have you read about New Orleans? US workers were out there working their heads off then the companies found out that they could hire the illegals for half the wages and fired all the US workers. Don't give me that crap about US workers being lazy bums. You steal the jobs illegally then blame us? Typical rabble rousing crap. And crap is all it is.
When I go to the store and buy vegetables I mostly worry about the unsanitary growing conditions and if I am going to get ecoli from it or if I will get some nasty pesticide thats banned in this country. Better to grow my own thank you.

People in this country are not lazy. If we were we would be a backward country like Mexico and everyone would be fighting to get out not in.

I would totally work in the fields moving pipes if I got paid enough to pay rent and utilities and food. Face it, farmers and others who rely on illegal immigrants do it for a reason, and that is because the illegals (yes I will use the word illegal becuase they are NOT obeying the laws of our nation) will work their butts off for very low wages. And the worst part of that? Our family farmers even when doing that still barely break even. Also, does anyone realize there is a whole group of people living in the US who feel they do not have to obey basic laws as long as they get money out of it? Fix the problems in Mexico, citizens of that vast nation, and if that doesn't work I'll defend your right to seek a decent life here illegally.

I'm sorry for that person that thinks meth comes across the border with mexico. We all know that Idaho is probably the main producer of meth around the world, ask police about this. Most of the drug coming to US from southern countries is from Colombia, not from Mexico. And why do they bring it here anyway? because Americans want it, we love it, face it. And probably about 60% comes from Arabic countries (or however there called). So now, who's supporting terrorism? Oh by the by, illegals don't get a social security card, employers just take that money off their paycheck. Moving pipes is not a job only for illegals, any one can do it. I've done it many times. However, I'm pretty sure that not too many people would not move 25 to 30 pipe lines a day, would they? I've known many many people that just give up after the first day moving pipes (american people).
Oh, don't worry about getting diseases from illegals working on what you eat, we spray very strong pesticides on the fields so you don't get any bacteria on what you eat. these pesticides are so strong that many illegals die when spraying over the fields.
And a last thing, if we don't want mexicans here, then let's bring all those mexicans from Iraq fighting for freedom for US.
So, why do we focus only on Mexicans?
Any way, this is an issue that will never end, no matter what we do, they'll just keep coming pusing our country up or down for some people.

Statistics show the meth comes across the border. I have not read where it is made but I know its not in Idaho. Now that would be funny. Make it in Idaho and ship it to Mexico to bring back across the border. Of course that is silly.
I do worry about pesticides for any one to have them on their food or in their breathing air.

The people fighting in Iraq are legal. Show me one that isn't.
If employers of illegals are saying they are taking social security out but are not giving it to the social security accounts then that is hardly a point in having illegals. It is another example of employers liking to have illegals because they are easier to cheat of their money.

I use to live in LA, then So OC and had to leave California because of all the problems that illegals have caused. California standards use to be among the highest...now I wouldn't live there if my life depended on it. Our borders aren't safe from the illegals OR terrorists! The CALIF economy is in shambles - and, more than often English isn't heard even in fine dining or resorts. I've given up - but hope that you won't.
Fair is fair - who ever comes here legally will be represented and given what America has to offer...but illegal is a crime.

Personally, I don't believe Americans hate Mexicans or anyone of another country visiting the US or moving here - as long as it's legal. We all just want justice! Justice that we all fight for, pay taxes for, abide by our laws for and teach our children about.

The hate that I believe you hear is hate for crimes done against our legal system that is going unstopped by our government - not against people. The US is rich from all cultures of the world - that's what makes us so wonderful! But to see laws being blantently broken and then media advertised in our faces is just horrible.

Dude are you kidding me. I mentioned the 3000 inmates because they are illegal citizens that have committed crimes in this country. Have you ever heard of MS-13? Look it up.

Bottom line is your a racist pig. And to back that up, you thinks it's ok to have mexicans enter this country illegally. But you don't mention Mexico's immigration policy with it's southern borders. They enforce it, ask any Guatamalen. Not to mention, rich mexican farmers on the souther border of Mexico hire guatamalens to do work "mexicans won't do".

The big problem I see is the sense of entitlement these illegal immigrants say they deserve. They already receive free tuition, use of public schools, hospitals and other social services. Then they say how badly they've been treated and wave Mexico's flag.

Do some damn research, and quit using sound bites off the 5 o'clock news. Like I said, I've lived in LA for 35 years, and I've never seen it in worse shape.

Enough of the pity party for Mexico. The problem is Mexico itself. The most racist country in the world. Look at the people they are encouraging to leave, dark skinned mexicnans. Look at the people who are staying in Mexico, light skinned.

One other bright spot for Mexico. They will be passing a bill that legalizes drugs. It will now be ok for mexicans to posess small amounts of heroin, cocaine, lsd, x, weed and methamphetamine.

Time to start standing up and writing your congressmen/women, and quit complaining and do nothing.
