Why does Sun City / Meniffee seem to be the gathering place for bums?? i get tired of going out to the store, or out to eat and getting asked for change , food ect..i dont understand how they can walk all around the city pan handling , and collecting there treasures to fill there vehicle aka>>>shopping cart, but they cant stand in one place and flip burgers for 8 bucks an hour. i also see them on friday's going thru the recycle containers we put out for waste management...dont get me wrong i have sympathy for the less fortunate, but you can only watch somebody be on the bottom for so long before you dont feel sorry for them anymore..not only are they so bold to go thru our trash right in fron of our homes, they releave themselves in public areas, and sleep on the sidewalks in broad daylight in our shopping centers, prodomately the shopping center in the senior core by santana's restoraunt and library where are children go to study , and or check out books.
they might seem innocent enough , and some might extend a little generosity to these people once in a while however, they are very dangerous people and need to be kept at a distance, one i have been watching for about a year , he is kinda short, dark curly hair and a mustache, usually can be seen pushing a cart, and going thru his treasures on the ground and discharging his garbage from the articles he dont want..he is always talking to himself, and appears pissed off at the world, he argues with himself and has a tendancy to be violent, watch out for this freak..one in a while you will see his pushing a freshly stolen bike as well..i know this is no secret to sun city , and everyone has seen them..im just kinda curious as to when it became legal to loiter, consume alcohol, occupy bus benches, ask people for there hard earned money, go thru private recycle containers, lets not forget it is also illegal to remove a shopping cart from the store property..releaving themselves in public areas where we shop potentially spreading desease...remember one thing they are doing this in broad daylight, what are they doing while were sleeping, kinda make you wonder dont it!!!!

I think that Sun City/Menifee should have a program to get these people a job. If they can stand at the street corners and wave a sign out at people asking them for money, then they certainly can get a job as a sign twirler or waver. That's the most easiest job ever. Doesn't require much.

Society seems to think that these "bums or homeless people" are freaks! There are all kinds of reasons why people are in the streets. Lost their jibs, family memers die and they go of the edge, drug and alcohol etc.
I myselkf seem to be a little scared but I do have the compassion to these people also.
I agree there should be something available for these people. If you want to blame someone-blame the US Goverment. They give millions of dollars to overseas and charitable groups outside of the
United states-always have and always will.
The US is always there when there is a diaster outside of our own country. What about the pooe seniors, who live on bare small budgets and always are on the edge of homeless. They need our help, they paid their debt to society. What about people who need unemployment to make it till their jobs can get up and running again. Lots of business are going out of business.People dont ask to be unemployed-circumstances make this a fact. Unemployment sometimes dont give them benefits because they havent paid enough into it. California is the highest place to live, but who can afford to move? You cant sell your home, you owe too much-and no one is buying so there goes your credit. You barely make ends meet.
Lets all think and think"You Could Be There Next""
Have Compassion when you see these people and your neighbors suffering and stop and dont take for granted what you have-thank God!!!!!!

You can't be the same Sherrie that insulted me on another thread?(said with a touch of sarcasm)
Well, bums are bums but I steer clear from them when they are walking by me and I'm standing on the side walk doing me job.(holding up a sign for (name of company I can't give)
The city should provide better living arrangements for them anywyas.
PS: Hope you read my blog.(LOL)

One of those homeless people in your city is my sister. She is an alcoholic - that is why she is homeless. I have been trying to arrange getting her on a bus to bring her to me but I can't seem to work it out. I may just have to drive there and hope I can find her. It a long way for me - I live in Colorado, but I will do it if nothing else works out. Then you people will have one less homeless person to put up with.

Most of the homeless people are good people. I have helped many of them. Their are a few who are mean. The homeless people are just like you and me. I think we need to just find a safe place for them so they can get off the streets. I knew a young man who could not find work and it just happend. It just might happen to you. No one will care about you and you will loose your job. You will become homeless. and people will wright things about you. Just pray for them. God has plans.

This is an old thread it should be deleted! You know if you people REALLY had something to say to me then say it to my face--that's if you know who I am. LOL Seriously, I don't care what you think about my websites or blog. You can kiss my (Bleep). I write the truth and I tell it like I see it! So there!!!
PS: As for getting a real job, a job is a job. People have to do what they have to do now-a-days. If you have the brains you’d understand that. Personally I can’t see a person over 35 who would write such a stupid comment about someone’s job or part-time job. Personally I think you are retarded with the exception of one person on this thread. long ago. If you really want to make a comment then post a comment up on my blog or websites either way I will probably delete your mean spirited comment. By the way, I won’t be back to this thread. It’s an old thread it should have been deleted.
Remember: What goes around comes around. Tsk, Tsk, Tsk.
To the woman who has a sister that is homeless: Sorry to hear about that.

<quoted text>
There is nothing I would love more than to bring my sister to live with me and get her help but you cannot make someone, even your sister, get well. They have to WANT to be helped. Alcoholism is a disease and must be treated as such. I did not make her an alcoholic, life did. She has lost much. She has been in many treatment programs but she always backslides. Your statements are mean and ignorant.

Daily Horoscope for January 6

Cancer

You could struggle to display your feelings and emotions at the moment. Being so sensitive, the smallest things could hurt your feelings, but no one else is likely to realise since you retreat into your shell at these times. This will not be a conscious decision, and you'll feel frustrated at your inability to explain the hurt you suffer.
