Truck Stop

Has anyone else seen all the trucks parking in the Wal-mart lot over nite. Some nites thier can be as many as 3 and other nites thier is even an RV with it's sides extended. Must be great to pull up anywhere and just sleep. I know what everyone is going to say is that they are making delivers butguess what they are not delivering to wal-mart or Menards because at about 8:30 and then again at 10:00 they are finnally ask to leave.

Walmart promotes this so they shop in the stores.

They promote what an all night shopping spree? The trucks and RV are there all night,(9:00 pm until 9:00 AM) Sleeping. The RV had is's sides slide out and the trucks had there curtin closed.

Wal-Marts across the Country are known as what they call "Safe Havens". That meaning anyone no matter what they drive, Truck, car, camper etc can pull in a WM and sleep or rest without being bothered. It's a good neighbor thing they started years ago. Has nothing to do with shopping.

Walmrt advertises in all the camping publication to stay in their lots. They also advertise in several of the truckers publications also. As a matter of fact some Walmarts off sewer hook ups. It is so you will shop when you are there and also will shop at Walmart when not on the road because of their hospitality. They are not hurting you or anyone else so why do you care?

So when Wal-Mart comes into your town they can take over. Maybe if you had to much to drink you should just pull into the friendly lot of wal-mart. All wal-Marts should open up a truck stop at every location.

Not hurting any one yet but if something should happen then it will be another sore eye for Crestwood because Wal-Mart advertises, maybe the village should have an aodinance against that.

Like you guys would enforce it we all no no one ever gets tickets in crestwood

Why do you care? It is a very large parking lot. Walmart does advertise to use their parking lots. Nothiong has ever happened and if it does your town will not be responsible. And by the way some of the trucks and RV's that park in the lot are worth a lot more than the majority of Crestwood homes. Gice it a rest.
