there was an auto accident at the walmart intersection on Nove 3rd, 2009 involving a midsize white vehicle and a truck between 3 and 4pm. one of the occupants was severly injured in that accident and will be disabled for life. we need wittness to that accident! anyone who say anything at all, please le me know asap if you are willing to give a statement and possibly testify in court as to what you saw. the truck was driven by a DNR officer and nicholas co and city police are taking the side of thier own. The truck supposedly ran the red light. please, anyone having any information as to how this accident happened, contact me at Ken_jones4380@yahoo.com or kenandkarenjones@yahoo.com thank you in advance.

was they a older lady driving the truck, and did she just get the truck. if this is the woman I remember my daughter helping her out of the vehicle. if this is the right person ill ask her if she saw the wreck when she gets home later.

Was this at the recenly revamped outlet in front of Arby's?

I'm not a big fan of it.

First off, it's difficult to get out of because of oncoming traffic turning off Route 19.

To make matters worse, people make illegal left hand turns coming from Applebees before they get to the light.

People also make illegal right hand turns towards Arby's and almost always take out a pylon or two.

If you want to leave Walmart legally from the new outlet, the only option is to wait for traffic to clear up (which takes a long time at peak hours) and stomp on the gas to get to the far lane to turn onto 19. And 9 times out of 10 there'll be a car turning right from 19 making getting across a matter of reaction time.

It's unfortunate for your friend . But if it's any consolation, they most definitely won't be the last person to have an accident there. I'm surprised it isn't a weekly thing already.

a dnr officer was driving the truck. the lady hurt was in a white car, not sure of the model. its a close neighbor of ours. had to have her colon removed and part of her spleen...she is in very bad shape. the others, her husband, grand-daughter and great grandson we slightly injured as well. the great grandson (3 years old) was the second worse hurt as his head went through the side glass

Ken you ask for help with witnesses and make a claim the cops are siding with their own before you get any witnesses. Was you there? Did you see it? Sounds like you may be taking it to court and are asking for help. I did not see the wreck but I was on the wreck. Do you have the police report? Do you have witnesses saying the DNR ran the red light, or is the people involved saying the truck ran the light? There are always two sides to every story. You should not come on here in a panic looking for answers and make statements that may or may not be true without others voicing their opinions.

i was not in the wreck. i made that clear from the beginning. i am simply looking for wittness for those who were in the wreck. i said only what i was told and i was there a few days later when the cops refused to comment in any way....looks suspicious to me. but wittness, either way, will be helpful. not looking for anyone to lie or make up a story...just the truth by someone other than those involved, be it my friends or the other person, supposedly a dnr officer. and "sounds fishy", if you were involved in the wreck, your statement also applies to yourself...two sides to every story. a third side, fourth side, fifth side is all we are looking for.

I was there the DNR did not run the light, sounds to me that people are just trying to make money off of a state agency. You should be ashamed of yourself!!

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Scorpio

It will be easy to let things get on top of you today, especially if you're already feeling rather tired and listless. Do yourself a favor and keep away from anyone who often makes you feel a bit fed up or defensive, because they're the last person you want to be around at the moment. They'll make your spirits sink down to your ankles in a flash, and who needs that?
