We decided to postpone our trip until the power is restored and things are pretty much back to normal. How long do you think that will be? If the power would come on all over Nicholas County by Sunday, do you think it would be safe to head up that way by Wednesday or Thursday or should we give it a little longer?

It just depends on what area of the county you're going to. I have family in Mt Nebo and they've heard it might be the 10th before their power is back on. Ours came on Sat. eve. Some gas stations seems almost back to normal, others are out of gas. Walmart has plenty of some items, out of others...It's just hard to predict. Hope you can have a good visit with your family soon.
