Summersville will never get past the 1st round. Because they are weak AAA school.

Plus Ripley is weak as well, but played stronger teams than Summersville. We are in a very weak conference, would be better off in AA... Good thing RHS Jacks didn`t play NCHS, they would have really been shot down! Go JACKS !

Here we go!! This post couldn't stay nice. Gotta get mean. Those NCHS boys played hard and so did the Jacks. But that's just it...they are boys. Cut them some slack and be nice.

I thought the Richwood Lumberjacks did play the Nicholas Grizzlies in a scrimmage game at the beginning of the season. Who won that game?

Richwood & Summersville did play a scrimmage, but they don't keep score in a scrimmage and there were other teams coaches there looking at the plays so I doubt either gave it their best. Good Job Boys they all have played hard this year!

It doesn't matter who ripley played in the regular season, that doesn't have any impact on how good a team is. They still have the same players and same coaches regardless of who they play. And "we" are not in a weak conference. We are not in a conference at all. We might be better off in AA, but the classifications are based on student enrollment.
Nicholas is starting to improve in athletics and did well this year. A couple of plays gone differently and they would be in the second round. As far as comparing Richwood and NCHS, there is no comparison because they are in different classifications.

Its sad that the coaches choose a easy schedule against teams that they know we can beat, just to make themselves look good. It has nothing to do with the kids, its all about making the coaches look like they know what they are doing. But actually they dont have a clue! They only play certain kids, so if your from town, have money or the right last name then you can bet your ass youll get plenty of playing time. What happened to the real coaches like Dobbins, Christian, and Kaham? These guys knew how to coach! Just wondering if any of the coaches or trainers NCHS has now ever even played football? I doubt it!
So much for you knowing much about NCHS's athletic program, school, or what anyone involved is doing! First off..."Coach Dobbins" is now Principal Dobbins. Christian...I don't know who or where he is...must have been before my time. And I hate to assume, but for this string I'll have to, that when you type "Kaham" you mean "Kamm" (pretty sad you were such a fan of them apparently and don't even know how to spell their name) and last I heard he is in North Carolina. And yes, coaches like Matt Morriston played football for NCHS in 1989, 1990, and 1991 before he graduated in 1992. Coach Morris has been involved in Nicholas County football for decades now and I'm sure is happy to have Matt on staff as well as other great team members such as trainer Phipps, and Coach Fleming who has been there for quite sometime himself including during the "Coach Dobbins" years. Some people really like to show their idiocy apparently.

WAY TO GO GRIZ-both the players and coaching staff-for a winning season...You did much more for this county than any of the do-nothing losers on here trying to trash talk you! Congrats!
