A retired deputy chief of detectives for the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office is in stable condition after being shot twice by his wife in their Florida home, according to news reports.

How sad, why did'nt she just divorce him? If you carry a gun in Florida while committing a crime it is 3 years MANDATORY. If you discharge it, 20 Years minimum maximum mandatory. He actually made out OK, no property split - no alimony and she is away for a long time. He must have been a real prick or she is really a wacko. She is a good shot for sure. I hear she shot him in the shower so she would not mess up the house. Maybe just a rumor. I wish them both well.

I was at Panera this morning and a bunch of guys that golf with Dennis were saying he dosen't want to pursue the matter.
