Let all these murderers die. I don't know why we waste our money on a trial. Once you are arrested, you should have to prove you are innocent within 24 hours or else you will be hung in public.

This guys problem , like so many others , are the public pretenders. oops defenders. He may or may not be guilty, but thier's no excuse for the detective commiting perjury. And no excuse for the public defender not to demand " Amy Gimmets" appear in court.Crooked cops ,lawers espeacialy judges are the only reason I'm against the death penalty.

Sounds like it's worth a look and if it turns out then that he is the shooter he should still get the needle. Sounds like he was there which makes him just as guilty.

So ,it's ok for the cop to lie and the prosecutor to go along with it? Do you want to go against these two with your life on the line? Maybe the cop just knows you did it ,but doesn't have any evidence?

Our system may greatly suck at times, but it is a heck of a lot better than alternative ones. And I am proud to 1) work in it and 2) defend the document which set it up.

I don't want anyone to think I was calling all police lawers and judges corrupt .The vast majority are honest honorable men and women. And I Still trust the system,as long as I have good lawyer.

I know there is a guy in prison for life and the Detective perjured (lied) on the stand and the guy was convicted based mostly on the lie. I do not feel all officers would lie but know a few that have to further their careers even lying on other officers. But it's like that in all careers now isn't it.

The fact this case has no DNA evidence and the Ohio Innocence Project still picked it up shows the new evidence found must really point towards his innocence or they wouldn't have even touched it. No matter what, whether you believe in the death penalty or not, a man should never be executed if his guilt is questionable because it could lead to an innocent life being taken and obviously Keith's guilt is questionable from what I read in the article, so the man should get a new trial.

And no Matt, we don't care to hear what your multiple user names have to say. Shut Up! Might want to be sure because if you are not, you are slandering these people in a public forum. The inter-web is not as anonymous as you think. If I were these people and I were innocent, I would sue you tomorrow. Wouldn't be that hard to track you down, Swinging Light.

This is a good example of the huge problems with capital punishment. The man deserves a new trial and if/when proven innocent an big fat apology from the State of Ohio.

Don't try to tell me innocent men are not convicted and sentenced to death. In 1982 my daughter and her boyfriend was shot and killed. In 1984, I was tried, convicted and sentenced to death. After seven years behind bars, five of them on death row, the appeals court reversed my conviction and the Ohio Supreme Court upheld that decision. Now 27plus years, Chester McNight confessed to killing my daughter. Mr. McKnight and Linscott were known to the authorities at the time. Several people went to the police, to the sheriff, and other law officials telling them this person was responsible for my daughter's death, but the sheriff dismissed this by saying he was just a local drugged up crazy. My life, and my family's life was destroyed because of police misconduct. Now, it appears that this has happened to kevin Keith. Give him his day in court to present this newly discovered evidence. I know some law officers do lie, do present false evidence. I sat in the court and listened to one witness after another tell what I knew to be a flat out lie. I paid a horrible price fot those lies. Now, Kevin Keith may pay with his life over police misconduct. The system is only as good as those to whom it has been given to administer. Some should not be given this authority. They make the honest, ethical law officers look bad.

Apalling! There is a terrible flaw in our death penalty system if we would risk even the slight chance of executing an innocent man!

If it is not 100% certain that this man is the killer then it would be a horrible tragedy to execute him. This is proof that the justice system can be flawed when it comes to executions and needs to be looked into. How can we put someone to death if there is even a fraction of a chance he could be innocent? That would make us as guilty as anyone else committing a crime. You can't say "well, he most likely did it." That is not okay.
