there is a big difference between loving your students, and being a lover with your students. aside from the phycological damage done to the student, there are also moral and ethical problems as well. Which is why the same behavior is frowned apon in universities, where both students and professors are adults. If Mrs. Meeks wanted to cheat, She could have found an adult to do it with, and this forum would not have existed.

I thought that was what teaching was all about. TEACHING the children in your care. I doesn't matter whether it's math or the missionary position. The young guy concerned certainly learned something from her that he probably wouldn't have learnt elsewhere at his age. I have sexual relationships with my girl students all the time and I'm 48? I can't see the problem here at all.

This is so sad! I happened to come across this topic and read these blogs. Might I say that for the most part this is very disturbing! All of these young women whom are disrespecting themselves now are going to look back with regret one day when they have a daughter of their own to protect. A Convicted Sex Offender Faces More Charges

A convicted sex offender faces more charges, and this time they involve children aged 10 and 7 years old.

Calcasieu sheriff's investigators say 32-year-old Shane Amy forced the two children to perform sexual acts on him.

Amy was previously convicted in November 2003, for felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile in Calcasieu Parish and is required to register for 15 years.

CPSO Detective Stephen Irwin is the lead investigator on this case.
