One of the Trustees was hired as a Maintenance Supervisor/Independent Contractor. We have just learned our attorney has deemed it as "The spirit has been broken of the Trust Indenture." In other words our Trust Indenture has been violated. Read your Trust Indenture, make sure you come to the next P.O.M. Most of the Trustees on board have not read the Indenture. There are two trustees running again, that are now on board. The property owners are trying to get them out of office, so all this may be resolved and fixed. Hope this helps, we have contacted an attorney, he said to wait and see if he gets in again, and if so, our attorney is ready to pounce.

On thing is to many people in charge and no one knows what they are doing. Trustees do as they please. With our funds. Like building things we don't need, because things are already there. Everyone has there own way about things. A place like this needed everything voted on. The trustees should be working for us the owneres not themself.Meeting on april 12th everone needs to be there to voice your concerns. On the other hand it is a nice place to go with freinds and family, some times people needs to forget when we are out there about the office crap and camp and have good clean fun.

We just bought a couple months ago at Woodland Lakes. We absolutely love the area. I had read things in the newsletter about what's going on. Because we are weekenders,(and can't come out every weekend) we miss meetings. Are there ways to vote absentee on some of these issues? I want to see the area stay beautiful and want to see our money used wisely.

Hello,
I've been looking for an area for my family & I to ride our dirt bikes & ATV on the weekends, and I understand they allow them here.
My questions are the following:
#1. "Are there any wide open spaces and trails to ride on, or mainly just flat dirt/rock roads?"
#2. "If there is a specific ATV/dirt bike riding area, how large is it (acres/miles)?"
I've been looking at Lake Hanna as well...
I'd appreciate any/all comments concerning this, and thank you in advance!!

Dirt Bike Riders,
When I'm out there people use their ATVs to travel from point a to point b. If you go to the Woodland lakes Web site: http://www.woodlandlakes.org/ it says in the lower left on the home page it says that "Woodland lakes does not condone riding that they don't promote or condone off road riding of recreational vehicals." There are some nature trails but they are for hikers. So far I haven't seen anyone taking their ATVs off road.(not to say it doesnt happen -just haven't seen it.) hope this helps.

You are very welcome, it's nice to know that people, such as yourself, are still looking for nature and enjoyment.

Look forward to having you as a new owner.

Woodlands is a great place. The problem is we put trutees in office who have no experince and they try to make it better and get knocked down. I think we need new blood out there instaed of the same old trustees in.

Daily Horoscope for December 8

Aries

You're feeling practical and sensible today, so it's great for getting on with some of the Christmas preparations. The idea of saving money appeals to you now, and if you're browsing around the supermarket looking for festive food you might be so horrified by some of the prices that you decide to make your own instead. This will give you a real feeling of satisfaction.
