Why should we be made to pay for a new school?
When teachers are don’t know how to teach our children. And what is wrong with the school we have now. I think is nothing but a dumb joke to get more money out of all the people that live here.
And I’m sorry but what idiot came up with this I dear to put an elementary school in with the high school. You’re heading for trouble it as been tried before and did not work then. Colon elementary is so far be hidden in is academic achievements it comes out the lows with all the schools, with in a 50 mile radius.

LET FACE IT THE CHILDERN HAVE TO WALK THROW ALL THAT BRIDGE WORK BECAUSE THE SUPERINTEDNET WILL NOT LET THEM RIDE THE BUS IF THEY LIVE WITH IN 6 BLOCKS OF THE SCHOOL.ALL I CAN SAY IF THIS GET BY WE WOULD BE THROWING MONEY DOWN THE TOLET!!!!!!WHAT A WAST OF TAX

Why? Just that question! WHY? So that our kids can go to school with older kids and watch them make out and smoke and ect ect because we all know that kids do those things! Its bad enough they have to see it when they go to high school but HELL NO am I voting to let my 4 and 7 year olds go to school with a bunch of teens! Who thought that one up? Our elementary school already sucks, why make it suck more? The teachers are out of date and have no clue! When new teachers try to come into the school, the school turns them away! WHY? I personally know an awesome new teacher. She is sooo wonderful with kids and the school told her to get lost. We have teachers that cannot hear! My daughter sat around in wet pants all day because her teacher could not be bothered to listen to her when she told her she fell. My daughter also came home with blood all over her gloves and the teachers denied all knowledge of anyone bleeding on the equipment! Then they refused to let her ride the bus!!!! When I could not pick her up and shes 7 years old! My 4 year old will be starting next year and Im terrified of this school! They make them cross the street 2 times over bridge work because they cant be bothered to drive them two blocks home!!!! BRIDGE WORK!!!!!! My child has been crossing a bridge BY HERSELF with NO crossing guard all year and the school will do NOTHING about it! Fix your school! Don't charge us to make another f UP!
I cannot believe the mess this school is in, and it terrifies me that my children have to go there!
SOMETHING needs to be done and its not to build another school. The building is fine, its who is in it that needs to change!

1. Apparently you did not do well in school (your gramp.s.mar). 2. Thank you to all the NO voters in 2008/2009 for pushing Colon closer to consolidation with Mendon or Centreville. Along with the Millage, we could of got more state funding etc...Now with no millage, no money for improvements and so on, it won't be long before Colon and other small towns like it are forced to consolidate. So to all the NO voters....i hope you enjoy paying Mendons millage for their new school....

To all the Amish (who drive up property value and taxes in Colon, and the reason why we pay the high taxes we pay now in the first place, and always vote against anything for Colon, and do NOTHING to benefit the area), how about instead of voting against issues that your 8th grade education can't comprehend, you pull your kids from public schools and send them to Amish schools?
