This guy is turning into a real nut case along with Pelosi and the other shrubs in DC. There is a old saying 'when you are digging yourself into a hole the first thing you need to do is STOP DIGGING'.. Our federal government has been digging us into a hole for the last 40 years, instead of stopping they are buying more shovels and digging faster. They are in frenzy to create more government when what they have does not work, more is better ? Do they actually believe that ? If you are drowning in a lake and about to go under do you ask for the lifeguard to hand you another 50lb weight ? do Democrats actually believe that ? Is it the air in DC that removes common sense, brought in from California for the occasion...

Cabin,

if that land were returned to the AI's, where would we put all the NYers?:-)

Isn't the correct term "Native Americans" now? It's weird that we're still calling them "indians".

Hubby and I lived and worked on the Navajo rez for more than 8 years...Hard Rock, AZ near the Hopi town of Kykotsmovi and I can tell you when you mention the word "indian" to a Native American it is an insulting term to them. We have portrayed Native American's so badly in our movies that most, if not all Native American's do not want to be associated with that stereotype. We have found Native American's to be a wonderful cultural group of people, kind, lovers of family and tribe. Most are lovers of the land. Let's remember, they are the real Native American's we are the intruders! Thank a Native American for allowing us to live on their land

Don't believe in evolution. If you want to claim "monkey" genes I guess that is up to you. As for what is Native American...do you know the history of our Native Americans? Do you realize Native Americans were the only people here when Europeans landed here? Do you realize to compare a horse to a human being is like comparing apples to oranges? Sorry, your theories do not fly with me but the history of our great country does. Much of it is told of the walls of caves, etched by the Native American's who were here before you. Like I said, if you know a real Native American, not one who wants to get tax exemptions, not one who wants to "claim" Native heritage so they can get gambling rights and pymts from the BIA but a true Native American, tell tham Thank You, for allowing you to live on land that at one time was theirs.

Are you referring to the horse myth that says horses became extinct in 7,000B.C.? If so, that is quite a bit different than saying that horses were Native American but then got wiped out.
Good discussion though.

There is no evidence for evolution, only adaptation within a species. Evolution, one species turning into another is a pretty big leap. It might be true, but it might not be and we can't prove or disprove it. The so-called "missing link" we now know was not a missing link at all, and we also know we didn't come from neanderthals either. They were a separate species that existed the same time as us.

I still think we were dropped off by martians.:-)

The Sumerians thought we were created in test tubes for a work force.

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Sagittarius

People around you may be insistent in their demands and they seem unreasonable, which in turn will lead to mental tension for you. There is the danger that this will dull your resolve, but the real path still lies ahead, beyond these temporary hurdles. Don't take this as a setback: there's no need to change your course of action.
