new to Streamwood

Hello Streamwood just moved in.Just wanted to know is there any neighbors I should keep my kids away from and why?

Is there anybody out there or is this a dead site.Let me know

Streamwood IS a nice town.
we have some dear friends that have lived there for years. p.s we used to live in Bloomingdale & have
relocated to Arizona.(still CUBS fans!)

I would like to know if there are any child molestors in the area.I am always worried for my children. Chinadoll

However, just because someone is listed on there doesn't mean the neighborhood is unsafe. The bigger risk comes from the pedophiles who have never been caught or are not registering regularly with their local police--something you can't track. Also, some people are listed on Megan's laws for things like statutory rape--they might've been in their young 20's with a girlfriend a few years younger than them and the girls' parents called the cops. Or, it could've been a family incest situation that won't get repeated outside the family. You never know unless you have the misfortune of really knowing.

As for neighbors you should keep your kids away from? Umm... Meet the kids and their parents--judge for yourself.
