How very, very sad. It just sickens me that people can treat animals like this. I noticed the article stated that the shelter relies on donates. I, for one, plan to make a donation to help these animals make it to homes where they are cherished and loved. Thank you to the people who run these shelters.

I have a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon that I was lucky to get from a shelter. The litter(at 6 months) was taken from a breeder. His name is Beau, the best dog I have ever had. After these dogs are nursed back to health, they should all be adopted into loving homes, then trained to hunt as they were bred to do. Then take this piece of dung "breeder", wrap him in bacon and bird feathers, then let them chase the guy through the woods. Then put HIM to sleep. He's lucky I am in a good mood today or I would suggest something worse. A pox on him!

Remember the 90+ degree heat last week, how awful! I think we should lock the owners in a non ventilated metal building with diarrhea causing parasites, see how they like it. I hope to god that they do NOT get any of the dogs back! I hope they are made to pay dearly to the shelter that is providing the necessary care to the dogs!

These people should not only get any dogs back, but they should be banned from EVER owning an animal again. As the wife of a local vet, I am going to get involoved and ask his staff to do the same.
These babies deserve a second chance.

I agree. They should never be allowed to have another animal. Let them starve and be in a building with no air!

I suppose these people will just get a slap on the wrist when they should go to jail. University studies have found that people who treat animals this way will eventually treat people this way too if they aren't already.

My family also had a litter of puppies and we received a call from a woman in Erskine, MN that was interested in buying one of our puppies. Luckily she never did, but I was wondering what the owner's name was that owned all the poorly treated dogs. If I know the owners name then I can see if it was the same person that contacted us about our puppies. If you have any information please email me at jd.2011@hotmail.com Thank You,
just for ur info
