RR Donelly IS not a good place to work. It has a lot of favoritism and an atmosphere of back stabbing by supervision. Encourage us to take lay off? I am at work to make money not sit around on my hind in. We need a union big time! The bosses walk around like Hitler's goons. I work hard, don't do drugs. We need a voice in the workplace not some arbitrary management buffoons. If they like you at that time, you will be fine. If they don't, you are out. Piss on them!
It is people like you that give RRD a bad reputation. I see you no longer work there. Happy to see they are weeding out the trash!! It's beyond any comprehension of mine why you would post such a small minded statement. Sexy girl you are NOT! Only in your small mind, in the big picture you are trash! <quoted text>
RR Donnelly already has a bad name. They did it themselves, suckie!
I might be working at the Liberty plant everyone look out!!This is the best thing the company could do though.Less people more hours available. We wasn't getting full checks.Any place else reduceing?Just wondering?
I worked at the Liberty plant in 1979 when it was Clark Printing in NKC,Mo. We were bought out by Banta who built us the new building in Liberty then acquired by RRDonnelly... Was good alot of good prople when I left in 1995.. Good Luck..
I was laid off two weeks ago from Liberty, MO plant. I was told that I had been impacted by the economy. Made me feel better don't you think! Not temporary to be called back unless I reapplied. NO Buyout. Severence pay offered. I'd like to hear from anyone else from Liberty RRD. My prayers are with you man...
I worked at the Liberty Plant in 1979 before it was even banta or rrdonnelly, I left in 1995... So your about 17 years too late....

Hey Tim, I know this may be a little off topic but I worked at Clark Printing Co. from 1988 to 1992 before I moved back to Ohio. I was just surfing the web trying to find some of my old friends. I think I remember you from way back. By the way, I liked Banta. We had fun working everyday and I can remember having so much work that we worked 12 hour shifts 6 days a week and we actually all got big bonuses one time.
Clinton RR Donnelley, to announce closing per Bill Clinton's rule towards end of March. The troubled Clinton Plant has lots of lot term top end paid employees and can no longer compete in a shrinking market, that it has lost several key long term accounts, to other sources of advertising. They have tried reduction in force by getting rid of long term non-productive workers and with the order to order existence. With much needed capital improvements with things as basic as a roof to keep the equipment and paper moisture controlled the once profitable company has finally succumbed to other lower cost producers.
