Not even a weekend in jail, come on. This is why people don't care if they get a DUI or not.

I guess it pays to work for the Government. Anyone else would have had at least 30 days in the work house. It really is the residents of Forest Lake’s fault that Mr. Hegberg drove drunk. If only they would have invested more money into buses and light rail he would not have been on the roads.

Hey, I read the article. He recieved a STAYED sentence, which means that he will do no jail time as long as he follows the terms of probation. If people actually suffered some cocsequences for these crimes, rather than getting a slap on the wrist, we may see a decrease in DUI's.

For those of you wondering, the Commissioner received they same treatment/sentence which is standard in Midemeanor DUI's, as any citizen in Washinton Co. would have received. He did not get let off easy, go look up the sentencing guidlines for First Time offenders!!! Or Go down to the Washington County Court House and sit in on a few Misdemeanor DUI cases!!!The Commissioner received the standard procedrue!!!~30 Day Stayed Sentence, 2 Yrs Probation.......... which means he has to reamain law abiding with no same or similar offences or run ins with the law, otherwise he goes to jail for 30 days in addition to any other offense he commits!!! Thank you very little
