Promotion of the Arts and the art museum would be a plus for the Erie community. The Erie Art Museum has some very cool exhibits ... promoting arts would be a good thing. Is there any place for local artisans to display/sell their arts and crafts? Just wondering. There's a lot of very neat arts-and-crafts stuff made by Erie people -- just don't know where they sell those things. Inquiring. Anybody?

The governor's words and actions should be closely monitored to ensure that he doesn't turn a state-funded junkett into a presidential campaign and fund-raising tour on behalf of the presumptive Democratic presidential candidate whose candidacy he openly and vocally supports.

As an artist, I support public funding of the arts at all levels.

Maybe reality should perceive what "Starving Artist" means?

From Van Gogh and Picasso to Edward Curtis and Thomas Moran I don't remember ever hearing they needed public funding of any kind. Art is in the eye of the beholder and they didn't worry about who liked their paintings or for that fact who really cared at all, but look at them now? Interesting to say the least.
