Turtle Cove

Gallery shut down bar based on police following customers "a little too close." Turtle Cove is the only place left to drink - figure it out...

I agree , the last time I was there , there was one other table of customer's & they were already eating. We sat down & waited , the waitress walked by us & I'm assuming it was the owner sat toward the back doing ???? The waitress walked back by us , never said a word & went in the back!! We left & haven't been back! Can't stay in bussiness if you ignore the customer's!

I wanted to add I am looking forward to visiting Turtle Cove, I don't drink wine so I don't have to worry about getting stopped, now if they served whiskey ?? I would probably call one of the cop's to take me home, wonder if they would , I live about 20 mile's from town?? Any way , I want to try the sandwiches & cheeses!

We have been told that the Extra Point was downtown for years and they didn't think there was a problem w/customers and police.

What do you think the real reason was?

Maybe they couldnt afford to stock the liquor ??

Only Place people will drink is if some one bought the Extrz Point and opened it Bank should take what ever for it to get what they can .would be a good place if cleaned ANd reopened watch who they hired SOME EMPLOYEES STOLE BOB BLIND.

Probably didn't make enough money to pay for liqueur license, so they shut the bar down & the restaraunt will probably be next, because of poor service!

Turtle Cove is a new restaurant that opened up in Stover on highway 52 across from Marriott's restaurant. It opened up several months ago.

I have been to turtle cove and sue the owner is a very nice lady and has good coffee. I have not tryed the food yet. I just want to say the old crowd of stover love to talk bad about new people and the new place's just so they themselves can get all the people for themselves. anyways if you think the price's are too high at turtle cove, go accross the street for some cheap tasting coffee in which I can drink at home. lol

new sheriff well hello Barney Fife there are many barney fifes in stover. I remember when Mike Groves called one Barney Fife and you know he spoke true words!

I was at Mariots and heard the police are watching weekend traffic there

They are probably trying to make enough money for at least 1 more patrol car. I don't see how they follow anyone or get anything done with only 1 car? I would think the mayor would be able to get some kind of grant or something?

I know they are trying to get money. When my family came to the applefest I warned them about Stover and told them to not do the speed limit but to creep through he town.
