Versailles O'Reilly Auto theft. Is it true?

Is it true that an Employee tried to rob the O"Reilly Auto part store in Versailles?

So I hear, but since it was an officals son , it wont be in the paper's or in the new's I'm sure. From what I hear ( & I know you can hear anything)They let him off with no charges because of some medicine he was taking made him do it .... haha! That is what I have heard anyway!

It's not the Official's Son but is a younger Brother.Yes it does seem that certain people around here has the luxury of being held above the law or "Should" be held accountable for their actions but are not because of who they are or have a certain name. I'm sure all small Towns are the same. As far as Versailles goes, it seems that its always been that way but it's getting worse.

This is exactly what I spoke about in another section of this site, It's who you are and the county and town clicks but some don't believe it so I bet there the county and town clicks themselves! where is stoverbornandraised she needs to comment on this. Only if they tortured & or molested a child!!This was a a theft , you are so crazy you think a thief deserves the same punishment as a child molester!! If you are Carol Sue as someone said ... I don't believe you are a child molester or someone that would torture an innocent child are you?? Then no! But if you answer yes to either of the above , you bet!! You keep saying PK has a cousin at DFS , & Rick says your a liar, if it's true tell his or her name , otherwise , I will believe Rick & & even though at one time I got along with you , I have to say I think you are losing it!

If the guy was molesting or torturing a child , I would be right beside ya ... no Joke!! I can't believe how you twist thing's around , I never, ever, said anything about torturing anyone except CHILD MOLESTERS OR SOMEONE WHO TORTURES CHILDREN. The man attempting to rob this store had worked there as an employee for many years. I don't know what could have been going through his mind to cause him to try this. I have heard one reason but don't know for sure so I won't elaborate for risking useless gossip. The fact is he did try to take money from his employer and should face charges like anyone else.You know we "the common man" can take some responsability for this because "we" don't take a stand and put a stop to this kind of corruption because of fear of somekind of retribution. We all have our own agendas and reasons for not getting involved. And there lies the fault that these people feel they'er above the law. They don't like attention when committing these indiscretions. They get by with it because ther'er able to sweep it under the rug and quicker it's out of sight then it's out of mind then POOF, it's magically gone, forgotten about.This sort of thing has always been present here and will continue.

I am a sicko for hating people that torture children??? Wow the world is full of them. I guess you would like to pat the 5 on the back that molested all the kid's , forced a child under 12 to have sex with an animal...(did it come from your shelter??)& gave an 11 year old an abortion & think there may be bodies buried?? I wonder , other than being investigated , if these cops are being punished in any way for getting so many reports from neighbor's (in several of these recent case's) and not really investigating them? I know 1 case, the the guy was a convicted pedophile & neighbors called in to say he had children living in his backyard, cops talked to him , looked over the fence & said take care??? Can't you get it through your ignorant skull? what I said is I do not believe in your kind of burn at the stake torture that you live with. your kind hasn't evolved yet! I bet you would like to throw stones at criminals still wouldn't you?

In the first place , I am far from ignorant, in the second , I think you are losing it. I have said all I am going to say on this subject. I believe everyone know's where I stand & yes years ago children I love dearly were treated more cruely than most of you could ever imagine!! So say what you want Carol, I will keep praying nothing like that ever happens to another child again, but I'm afraid if we don't give them real punishment , our street's & even our homes will never be safe for our children.

I was raised in the Versailles area and I worked at that exact O'reilly's several years ago. I now live in Providence, RI. Part of the reason for moving was the economy but the corruption mentioned about letting the thief get off "scott free" along with the narrow-minded hatefulness of people with different religions, lifestyles and skin colors were also very LARGE factors in the decision to leave.

I miss the countryside of Morgan County but not the culture. To me it is a place truly devoid of civilized values.
