Fire at Oscar's Smoke House in Warrensburg

CBS6's Craig Smith reported from the scene that the owner of Oscar's Smoke House, Jerry Quintal, said that the fire began at 5:30. The store was open at the time, but a cause or a point of origin has not been established.

I was in Oscar's on Friday about 2PM. I have been going there for over 30 years. Anyone who has ever been there will say the meats and cheeses are yummy, and the staff is the best! I am so glad that no one was hurt, and Jerry plans to rebuild. One of the great pleasures of the Adirondacks is going to Oscar's. My prayers go out to Jerry, his family, and his staff. My very best wishes are with you!
