If you have any babies please put them up for adoption and don't kill them. Please don't do anything rash. There are plenty of adoption agencies and any hospital will take your child. Please DON'T KILL YOUR BABY.

Ian,

If you love animals, there is no
doubt you love children......and I
love children as well as animals....

Animals are very similar to children
but they never grow up.....they always need us to feed them...care
for them...get them medical care...
and most of all love and respect
them.

Because some of us are animal advocates it does not mean we are
not advocates for children's rights.

It seems to me that you do not
understand that in America we all
have a right to be free and do as
we choose.....do not judge people
or make assumptions as to people's
belief in abortions because they
advocate the proper care and treatment of animals.

Open your heart to all people and
animals and you will not be such
an angry and aggressive person.

May you be well and happy........

There is something wrong with all of you!!! I think Mr. Gesualdi is doing a wonderful, noble thing. For all you ignorant people out there, he is not choosing animals over children, he simply chose a niche in his profession to deal with something he is passionate about. Animals have feelings too and deserve a chance at a happy life. And, if you read the full article...animals are a key ingredient in helping sick children and even adults for that matter. An animal has an innate ability to bring a smile to anyone's face, especially if they are hurting....it makes them forget about their problems for that brief moment. And, this is what it's all about, bringing a smile to a less fortunate face!

Ian, your logic is, well, illogical. Are you suggesting that because a female lawyer wishes to protect the well being of our fellow animals that she is incapable of protecting humans? Are you also forgetting that a woman's right to control her body is protected by law? When you, sir, are pregnant against your wishes, you will then have the right to determin what is best for your body. Until that time, sir, keep your illogical thoughts to yourself.

A wonderful way to make a living.

Not trying to minimize what these good people are doing, I do note their efforts are totally committed to "protecting" animals from those evil humans. Which I would expect, since humans pay money for the service.

Of course, humans, while capable of being quite brutal, cannot compare to the level of brutality inflicted on animals by, well, other animals.

Perhaps they will one day prosecute that leopard we saw chase down and brutally rip apart a small dear the other night. Listening to that dear cry out in pain and fear for about 20 seconds (which seemed like 20 years to me) made me realize what true "animal protection" would entail.

But you have to congratulate the people involved... they certainly could make more money representing auto accident victims.

Sorry to say you don't get the whole
picture.....humans do not have to eat meat.....have no conscience as to
how these animals are killed to be
put on the dish in front of them......you are talking about animals in a jungle or forest where there is no alternative for
food other than what they can kill...
and the way they kill is much more
humane than the way humans kill animals to ingest into their overweight unhealthy bodies.....do you know what they do in slaughter-
houses.....it is disgusting..inhumane.....these animals suffer far worse than anyone
would believe.....I am grateful
to these two wonderful attorneys who
have chosen a path of law that makes
sense.....it is our job in life to
protect the helpless......stop eating meat, stop wearing fur, don't
go to Kentucky Fried Chicken....and
don't think that vivisection in labs
is the way to go....and then talk
about animals in a jungle or forest...your views prove your ignor-
ance.....

Animals are such a huge part of our lives, in so many ways, it is only right that they should be treated decently and have their rights repected. This positive change in our attitude towards other sentient beings is happening in many places around the world this is well expressed in the words of Gandhi,
"The greatness of a nation and itīs moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated".
This comment is beautiful. I am uplifted by this message and the words of Gandhi and disregard the sewage that comes from people like Ian.

Without having compassion for animals, how can you be compassionate for children? Everyone picks and chooses their passion. This lawyer chose to protect animals. It's a great thing.

I think who ever hurts any animal should get the strongest punishment the court can give. and never have the right to ever own any kind of live animal myself I say do to them as they did to the helpless animal with no mercy . .

To Sally Omar and all the others who spoke so eloquently and with such heartfelt feeling...understand that articles such as these are magnets for borderline deranged people. Men like Ian are a concern. He really doesn't care about chilren or even himself because if he did, he would be thoughtful in his comments instead of hysterical and venomous.

It is rare to meet a person who loves animals who is not also a kind, loving, caring person who cares about and helps people too.

Remember this dear people..."All great movements, it is written, go through three stages: ridicule, discussion, adoption. It is the realization of this third stage, adoption, that requires both our passion and our discipline, our hearts and our heads. The fate of animals is in our hands. God grant we are equal to the task".~ Tom Regan

It is cruelty to animals to force them to live inside suburban homes, together, en masse, as opposed to providing appropriate OUTDOOR shelter and habitat.
I believe that some people posting here do just that...it is selfish and cruel and must be stopped.
