I r think we may have a new representative when the Everett populace "digest" the article in the Everett Advocate last week. Besides that M.A.D.D.{Mothers against Drunk Driving} may campaign against Rep. Smith .. on the other hand, Smith was re-elected to the school committee......Everett people may have said.....let bygones be bygones.......

Stop throwing peoples names out like that. The only person that has expressed interest is Heather Connolly. If you want Van Campen to run then contact him and work a campaign. Don't just sit behind a computer and throw his name out there to stir up trouble and stop talking to yourself.

I'm sure it's DeMaria that would LOVE for Van Campen to run for state rep. He'd probably finance the campaign just to get rid of him. God help us if that happened.

This is America, AND WE STILL HAVE FREE SPEECH, the right to "throw out peoples names for possible election to office.

I am one person that lives in Everett that will not only say that Robert Van Campen should run.I will be one of the first people that will be at his home with 200% of my support.I can bring him a lot of support with house signs,I.D. of the vote,and anything that he needs.Robert lets get Started.

VanCampen is excellent....but Heather Connolly has the political network and is loved by the elderly {and these people ALL VOTE}. Matewsky is certainly well known and well liked. And the Stat people..would follow that men , even if he committted a serious crime, they are very loyal.

This shuold be the beginning. Lets rise up and elect really good representation; VanCampen and Connolly certainly are the beginnings of a terrific list. Perhaps if we can remaining good, loyal, decent and uncorrupt people can rise ONE MORE TIME to see positive results it will resinate to the city elections next time.

I think that Peter Napolitano would be a great State Representative. Why isn't he included in the poll?

Nah. He talks a good game and pretends he's smart, but he's not. Too condescending. Look how long it takes him to get things done, he wont do anything.

Napoitano is very condesending to the entire Everett population. I, for one, resent his arrogant , superior attitude. He has what I can a FFF attitude.

I thnk that Sal DiDomenico would make a great State Rep.I think he has the network to run for it and the core base of support to beat Stat.Is there anyone else that thinks that Sal would make a great candidate for Rep.Sal if you read this one you should be thinking about this.

DiDomenico works for Gallucio. That will not help him.

Sal is a different kind of guy then Galluccio.Sal is a family man.Sal go for this seat you will win.

I don't know what you're talking about but you obviously don't live in Ward 1. Napolitano is persistant and gets things done. Arrogant , superior attitude? You sound like one of the Common Council.

Not only is Napolitano arrogant, he apparently has an "ax to grind" with the water department as demonstated by tonights Council meeting.

The Water department is the most arrogant department at City Hall. If Nappy's got an ax to grind, good for him.

I don't get it. You put up your choices and then trash anyone elses opinion. I hadn't considered Napolitano but I don't find him arogant or any other of the nonsense I've heard here. I'd copnsider him for State Rep.
